1 NOTIFICATION ADMISSION INTO ITls OF ASSAM FOR THE SESSION AUGUST 2015 Application for admission in the ITls of Assam for NCVT/COE trades under Craftsmen Training Scheme for the session commencing from August 2015 are invited from permanent residents of Assam. Application form will be issued on payment Rs. 5/-(Rupees Five) only. The age of candidates for admission mustnot be below 14 years as on 1 st August The details of trades available, duration of courses, minimum entry qualifications, etc. are given below. Actual number of seats available for admission will be notified by the concerned ITls. Trainees successfully passing out from the ITls will be granted NCVT certificates. Applications will be issued from 21/05/2015 to 08/06/2015 Filled up application form with testimonials should be submitted positively on or before 08/06/2015 for all the courses at the respective ITls of Assam. Partially filled up application form and non submission of required testimonials will not be entertained. The acknowledgement receipt for submission of application forms will be issued by the ITls at the time of submission. The candidates must produce the receipt of submission of forms at the time of certificate verification. Application forms can also be downloaded from the website of the Directorate of Employment & Craftsmen Training, Assam at and deposit the fee of forms in the form of IPO for Rs. 5/-(Rupees Five) only in favour of Sr. Principal/ Principal/ Superintendent of respective ITls. If the seats are not utilized fully, the same could be filled up by male candidates in the co-education ITls. The candidates must be physically fit to undergo rigorous training and have to undergo medical check-up at the time of admission on payment of prescribed fees. Physically Handicapped candidates will also be considered for admission in to suitable trades subject to approval of the VRC, Guwahati. Separate application forms have to be submitted by the candidates for different trades, but he may be admitted in one trade only. 30% supernumerary admission in each unit may be given on the basis of merit as well as on the reservation policy and as per DGE& T guidelines for supernumerary. SELECTION PROCEDURE: following procedure- Selection of candidates for admission will be made as per (a) POST MATRIC TRADE: Selection for Post Matric Trades will be made on the basis of marks secured by the candidates in HSLC examination as the case may be. Three times to five times number of sanctioned seats for each trade will be invited for certificate verification, list of which will be displayed in the Notice Board of the respective ITls by. The candidates will have to take admission w.e.f. 10/07/2015. If any seats that remains vacant; including reservation seats will be filled up from the waiting list on the basis of merit only. If any seats found to be vacant from the reserved category, where no candidates available in the waiting lists, seats will be filled up from the merit list of general category. Contd.2
2 -2- (b) UNDER MATRIC TRADE: Selection for under Martic Trade shall be made on the basis of marks secured in written test to be held on 14/06/2015 eligible candidates for written test may obtain their Roll Nol Venue of test etc. from respective ITls. The list will be displayed in the Notice Board on a date to be notified by the respective ITls after certificate verification. The eligible candidates should come prepared with all original certificates and required amount of fees as indicated under Column Admission Fees below. Seats remaining vacant on the day of admission may be filled up from the merit list on the basis of merit within 7 days by notifying the vacancy position. (If any seats found to be vacant from the reserved category, where no candidates available in the waiting lists, seats will be filled up from the merit list of unreserved category).. (c) PREPARATION OF LIST: Three times to five times of number of sanctioned seats against each trade will be confirmed by the concerned ITls in consultation with the Deputy Commissioner concerned. PROCEDURE FOR WRITTEN TEST (UNDER MATRIC TRADES) > 1. List of eligible candidates will be : 12/06/2015 Display in the Notice Board of respective ITls 2. The merit list of all trades of each ITls should reach this Directorate by 24/06/2015 along with Soft Copy of the lists. A unique Serial No. may be maintained by ITls at the time of receiving the downloaded forms from the website. E.g.E-RT-0001 for Jorhat or E-GHY-0001 for Guwahati etc.. 4. After receiving the forms, the list of candidates will be prepared as per the format at annexure-a. The list of eligible candidates in order of merit (as per format at annexure-b) prepared by ITls will be submitted with a duplicate copy to DECT for approval. 5. From the approved lists, select list and awaiting list for each trade will be prepared by the ITls in order of merit and following reservation criteria as notified by the DECT. The number.of candidates in select list and merit list will be the same as per the intake capacity including supernumerary against each trade/unit. 6. In case there are any vacant seats after the admission, ITls will prepare waiting from the list approved by DECT and after due approval of admission committee, admission will be given from the select list. 7.
