4 INTERNATIONALIZATION AT THE TECNOLÓGICO DE MONTERREY At the Tecnológico de Monterrey we acknowledge that todays society requires citizens with a global outlook, who show a high regard for diversity and have the ability to conduct themselves properly in different cultural contexts. 9 In 2012 we offered 1,024 academic opportunities to study abroad 7,485 students traveled to 44 different countries 4,262 international students from 72 countries studied in our campuses
