They are also directed to report on the previous day of the date of entrance test with passport size photographs to get their Duplicate Hall Tickets.

6 GUIDELINES AND INSTRUCTIONS TO THE CANDIDATES 1. The hall-ticket for the Entrance Test is enclosed. Candidates are directed to produce the hall-ticket at the time of Entrance Test to the Chief Superintendent on demand. 2. Candidates should present at the Examination hall 15 minutes before the commencement of the Examination. 3. Candidates who report at the Examination hall 15 minutes after the commencement of the test will not be permitted to appear for any part of the test. 4. Candidates will be permitted to leave the hall only after half an hour from the commencement of the Entrance Test. 5. Strict silence shall be observed in the hall. 6. No printed matter of manuscript shall be brought inside the hall. 7. Use of calculators, scale, darks table etc., are not permitted. Cellular Phone, Satellite Phone, etc., are not allowed inside the examination hall. 8. The Entrance Test question paper booklet will contain 100 questions and all the 100 questions are to be answered. All questions carry equal marks. The duration of the Entrance Test is 100 minutes (One hour and forty minutes). 9. One Question Paper Booklet and computer coded answer sheet will be supplied separately. 10. The Candidate should verify the given question paper, whether it is relevant to him/her in the first instance. PLEASE READ THE INSTRUCTIONS GIVEN IN THE QUESTION PAPER BOOKLET AND ANSWER SHEET CAREFULLY BEFORE MARKING. 11. For each question, four alternative answers will be given. The candidate is required to choose the correct answer to a question and to shade the box corresponding to the correct answer in the answer sheet with HB PENCIL. No marking shall be made in the question paper booklet. 12. A sharpened HB PENCIL, an eraser and a ball pen should be brought by the candidate for the test. It is advisable to have one more sharpened HB PENCIL as a spare. 13. HB PENCIL should be used for shading the boxes and the ball pen only for writing wherever require. 14. Pen/Ball Pen should not be used to shade the boxes. 15 Trying to read all the questions before starting to answer will result in waste of time. It will be advantageous to the candidates to read and answer questions one by one. Candidates are advised not to spend much time on any question for which they are not sure of the answer, but to proceed answering the rest of the questions.

7 16. The answer sheet will have two pages - back to back. Page No. 1 of the answer coding sheet - to be filled-in with Ball Pen, a. The candidate should write the city name where examination is held. b. Candidate should write his/her name in the space provided. c. Candidate should write his/her Register Number in the provided boxes legibly. d. The candidate should write the course for which admission is sought. e. The candidate should sign in the space provided. Page No. 2 of the answer coding sheet - to be filled-in with HB PENCIL. Candidate should write the Register Number under the heading Register Number, and shade the relevant boxes just below the Register Number. 17. For each question, the answer is to be marked by shading the box corresponding to the correct answer choice with HB PENCIL only. If any shading to be changed, erase the previous shading completely and shade the appropriate box. For each question only one box must be shaded. 18. Questions for which there are multiple shading will be treated as unanswered. Please ensure that the boxes are shaded fully with HB PENCIL only without leaving any space. Use the answer sheet carefully. Do not damage the answer sheet. Another sheet will not be given. 19. Candidates who absent themselves for the Entrance Test shall not be considered for admission. 20. Mere appearance for the Entrance Test does not mean that the candidate is eligible for admission. 21. TA/DA will not be paid to any candidates under any circumstances. 22. Enquiry/correspondence will not be entertained with regard to admission. 23. No Candidates will be permitted to take the Entrance Test without HALL TICKET. Palkalainagar Madurai Dr. G.
