Prof. Dr. Murat Aydos, who is a member of Institute of Informatics, to the project named Security Provider against Cyber Attacks in COMODO Software Trade Inc. which is operating within Middle East Technical University Teknokent, as a consultant, for 1 year from the approval date and out of office hours in accordance with the Technology Development Area Law no. 4691, on condition that he will not neglect his main job s requirements related to teaching and he will not neglect his administrative duties, if any, was read and on condition that the aforementioned faculty member will deposit 20% of his wage into our University Circulating Capital Enterprise, was approved.

34 The decree of Faculty Board of Directors dated and with number 925 of 2014 about increasing the number of sections of the course SHO 316 Uygulamalı Araştırma II which is 26 currently, as 40, in the Academic Year Spring Term due to the increase in the student number of the Faculty of Economics and Administrative Science Department of Social Work, was approved.

35 The decree of Faculty Board of Directors dated with number 1333 of 2014 about the withdrawal of Prof. Dr. Banu Anlar who is a member of Faculty of Medicine of Department of Pediatrics from the jury of Associate Professorship Oral Examination which will be held in our University on 30 September 2014 due to her participation in the conference named Fourth Annual Conference of COST Action ECM which will be held in Antalya between 29 September 03 October 2014, was approved.

36 The decree of Faculty Board of Directors dated with number 14 of 2014 about the withdrawal of Prof. Dr. Mustafa Türkyılmazoğlu who is a member of Faculty of Science of Department of Mathematics from the jury of Associate Professorship Examination which will be held in Ankara University Faculty of Science on 26 September 2014 due to his assignment to Bitlis by ÖSYM (Assessment, Selection and Placement Center) in the KPSS (Public Personnel Selection Examination) between September 2014, was approved.

37 Getting occupancy permit in order to do open and transfer assignments to the faculty member positions indicated with their units, departments, titles, degrees and numbers in the attached schedule, was approved.

38 In accordance with the decrees of Hacettepe University Special and Guest Student Directive which went in effect with the decree of our University Senate dated and with number 391 of 2014, tuition fees of the ones who want to take courses as special or guest students from our University School of Foreign Languages in Academic Year were discussed and approved as indicated below; 1) determining the tuition fee as 10tl per period, 2) determining the tuition fee as 3TL per period with a discount of 70% for Hacettepe University academic and administrative personnel, 3) determining the tuition fee as 5TL per period with a discount of 50% for partners and children of personnel, 4) determining the tuition fee as 10tl per period for the applicants out of Institution.

39 In accordance with the Technology Development Area Law, the m² field, which is in Square 6 Parcel boundary of Beytepe Campus owned by our University was approved, unanimously, to be declared as Hacettepe University Technology Development Area.

40 The letter of Computer Center Board of Directors dated and with number 571 of 2014 about assignment of Mustafa Karacan who is the head of our University Computer Center to the United Arab Emirates between October 2014 by means of covering the charges of travel pay and wage from the budget of our University, in order to participate in the conference named Citex Technology 2014 which is on the advancements of Network and Security Technology, was approved.

Prof. Dr. Huriye Reis who applied for one vacant position of professorship in the Faculty of Letters of Department of English Language and Literature of our University in accordance with the Higher Education Law with number 26 of 2547 was read in the Faculty Board of Directors. As a result of the examination and discussion of these reports given by 5 faculty members, there were 5 positive reports for the candidate. Since the members of the University Board of Directors agreed with the positive views the aforementioned was assigned to the vacant professorship position in the Faculty of Letters of Department of English Language and Literature by common consent.

49 The reports from 5 professors, 1 of them from our University and the other four from other universities, who are determined as a result of the transaction done in accordance with the decree of Regulations Regarding Promotion and Assignment to the Faculty Membership, in order to examine the state and technicalities of Prof. Dr. Murat Diker and Assoc. Prof. Dr. Yaşar Sözen who applied for two vacant positions of professorship in the Faculty of Science of Department of Mathematics of Division of Topology of our University in accordance with the Higher Education Law with number 26 of 2547 was read in the Faculty Board of Directors. As a result of the evaluation of these reports given by five faculty members, the aforementioned were assigned to two vacant professorship positions in the Faculty of Science of Department of Mathematics of Division of Topology by common consent.

50 The reports from 5 professors, 1 of them from our University and the other four from other universities, who are determined as a result of the transaction done in accordance with the decree of Regulations Regarding Promotion and Assignment to the Faculty Membership, in order to examine the state and technicalities of Prof. Dr. Faruk Öztürk who applied for one vacant position of professorship (Turkish) in the Faculty of Medicine of Department of Surgical Sciences of Division of Ophthalmology of our University in accordance with the Higher Education Law with number 26 of 2547 was read in the Faculty Board of Directors. As a result of the examination and discussion of these reports given by 5 faculty members, there were 5 positive reports for the candidate. Since the members of the University Board of Directors agreed with the positive views the aforementioned was assigned to one vacant position of professorship (Turkish) in the Faculty of Medicine of Department of Surgical Sciences of Division of Ophthalmology by common consent.

51 The reports from three professors, who are determined as a result of the transaction done in accordance with the 25 th article of the Council of Higher Education Law No and in accordance with the 16 th article of the relevant regulation about Assoc. Prof. Dr. Haydar Demirhan who applied for one vacant position of associate professorship in the Faculty of Science of Department of Statistics of Division of Theory of Probability and Process of Probability of our University were read in the Faculty Board of Directors. As a result of the evaluation of these reports, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Haydar Demirhan was assigned to the aforementioned position by common consent.

52 The decree of Faculty Board of Directors dated with number 1389 of 2014 about the withdrawal of Prof. Dr. Mustafa Tezel Kutluk who is a member of Faculty of Medicine of Department of Pediatrics from the jury of Associate Professorship Oral Examination which will be held in Gazi University on 30 September 2014 due to his assignments in academic meetings, was approved.
