1 Sanjay Ghodawat University, Kolhapur Academic Year Eligibility criteria for admission of various Programmes (1) School of Technology: (A) Under Graduate Program First year /Technology of B. Tech 1. Maharashtra State Candidature Candidate.- (i) The Candidate should be an Indian National; (ii) Passed HSC or its equivalent examination with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with one of the Chemistry or Biotechnology or Biology or Technical or Vocational subjects, and obtained at least 50% marks (at least 45% marks, in case of Backward class categories and Persons with Disability candidates belonging to Maharashtra State only) in the above subjects taken together; and Obtained score of National level Entrance Test (JEE 2018) CET conducted by component authority: MHTCET 2018 Obtined Score of any other State level Entrance Test of States in India. Obtained Score of any other National level Test conducted by recognised Private / Deemed University. Obtained Score of National level Entrance Test conducted by Sanjay Ghodawat University, Kolhapur (ii) Passed Diploma in and Technology and obtained at least 50% marks (at least 45% marks, in case of Backward class categories and Persons with Disability candidates belonging to Maharashtra State only); (ii) Passed B.Sc. Degree from a Recognised University as defined by UGC and obtained at least 50% marks (at least 45% marks, in case of Backward class categories and Persons with

All India Candidature Candidates, Jammu and Kashmir Migrant Candidature Candidates.- (i) The Candidate should be an Indian National; (ii) Passed HSC or its equivalent examination with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with one of the Chemistry or Biotechnology or Biology or Technical or Vocational subjects and obtained at least 50% marks (at least 45% marks, in case of Backward class categories and Persons with Disability candidates belonging to Maharashtra State only) in the above subjects taken together and Obtained score of National level Entrance Test (JEE 2018) CET conducted by component authority: MHTCET 2018 Obtained Score of any other State level Entrance Test of States in India Obtained Score of any other National level Test conducted by recognised Private / Deemed University Obtained Score of National level Entrance Test conducted by Sanjay Ghodawat University, Kolhapur (SGUEE) (ii) Passed Diploma in and Technology and obtained at least 50% marks (at least 45% marks, in case of Backward class categories and Persons with Disability candidates belonging to Maharashtra State only); (ii) Passed B.Sc. Degree from a Recognised University as defined by University Grants Commission and obtained at least 50% marks (at least 45% marks, in case of Backward class categories and Persons with Disability candidates belonging to Maharashtra State only) and passed XII standard with Mathematics as a subject. 3. NRI / OCI / PIO, Children of Indian workers in the Gulf countries, Foreign National.- The candidate should have passed the HSC or its equivalent examination with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with one of the Chemistry or Biotechnology or Biology or Technical or Vocational subjects, and obtained at least 50% marks in the above subjects taken together.

3 (B) Under Graduate Program Direct Second Year (Lateral Entry) /Technology of B. Tech (1) For Maharashtra State Candidature Candidate and All India Candidature Candidate,- (i) The Candidate should be an Indian National; (ii) Passed Diploma Course in and Technology with at least 45% marks (40% marks in case of candidates of backward class categories and Persons with Disability belonging to Maharashtra State only) in appropriate branch of and Technology from an All India Council for Technical Education or Central or State Government approved Institution or its equivalent; (ii) Passed B.Sc. Degree from a University Grants Commission (UGC) or Association of Indian Universities recognized University with at least 45% marks (40% in case of candidates of backward class categories and Persons with Disability belonging to Maharashtra State only) and passed HSC with Mathematics as a subject. Provided that students belonging to this category shall clear the subjects of Graphics/ Drawing and Mechanics of the first year Program along with second year subjects. (C) Post Graduate Program First year /Technology of M. Tech Admission Eligibility: (Course wise) Post Graduate Program Department : Mechanical 1.Programme: Mechanical (Manufacturing Technology) 2. Programme: Mechanical ( Design) Department : Electrical Eligibility Criteria (For Maharashtra Candidature Candidate and All India Candidature Candidate) (i) B.E./B. Tech. from any recognized University /AMIE in Mechanical /Industrial Production /Manufacturing /Automobile/Aerospace and allied branches of with minimum 50% marks at graduation (at least 45% marks in case of candidates of Backward class categories and persons with disability belonging to Maharashtra State only) (i) B.E. /B. Tech. from any recognized University /AMIE in Electrical/EEE and allied branches of with minimum 50%

5 (2) School of Commerce & Management : (A) Under Graduate Program 1.Eligibility Criteria for first year Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com.) : Passed HSC or its equivalent examination in any stream Three years of Diploma course after S.S.C i.e. standard X, of Board of Technical Education conducted by Government of Maharashtra or its equivalent. Intermediate Commerce/Arts examination from the Board of Secondary Education, with 4 subjects including General English Minimum Competency based vocational course 2.Eligibility Criteria for Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA): Passed HSC or its equivalent examination in any stream Three years of Diploma course after S.S.C i.e. standard X, of Board of Technical Education conducted by Government of Maharashtra or its equivalent. Intermediate Commerce/Arts examination from the Board of Secondary Education, with 4 subjects including General English Minimum Competency based vocational course (B) Post Graduate Program 1.Eligibility Criteria for Master of Commerce (M.Com): (i) Graduate in relevant stream from a recognized university (ii) Admissions will be based on merit in the qualifying examination 2.Eligibility Criteria for Master of Business Administration (MBA): (1) Maharashtra State Candidature Candidate.- 1. The Candidate should be an Indian National; 2. Passed minimum three year duration Bachelor s Degree awarded by any of the Universities recognized by University Grants Commission or Association of Indian Universities in any discipline with at least 50% marks in aggregate or equivalent ( at least 45% in case of candidates of backward class categories and Persons With Disability belonging to Maharashtra State only) or its equivalent 3. Obtained score in CET conducted by the Competent Authority (MAH- MBA/MMS-CET 2018).

6 (2) All India Candidature Candidates, Jammu and Kashmir Migrant Candidature Candidates.- 1. The Candidate should be an Indian National; 2. Passed minimum Three year duration Bachelor s Degree awarded by the University recognised by University Grants Commission or Association of Indian Universities in any discipline with at least 50% marks in aggregate or equivalent (at least 45% in case of candidates of backward class categories and Persons With Disability belonging to Maharashtra State only) or its equivalent 3. Obtained score in one of the following examinations; CET conducted by the Competent Authority Common Admission Test conducted by Indian Institute of Management (CAT), Graduate Management Aptitude Test Conducted by Graduate Management Admission Council, United States of America (GMAT), Management Aptitude Test Conducted by All India Management Association (MAT), Entrance Test for Management Admissions conducted by The Association of Indian Management Schools.(ATMA), Xavier Aptitude Test conducted by Xavier School of Management Jamshedpur (XAT), Common Management Aptitude Test Conducted by All India Council for Technical Education (CMAT) valid for admissions during the Academic year

7 3) School of Science : (A) Under Graduate Program Eligibility Criteria for admission in first year Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) : Passed HSC or its equivalent examination Three years of Diploma course after S.S.C i.e. standard X, of Board of Technical Education conducted by Government of Maharashtra or its equivalent. (B) Post Graduate Program Eligibility Criteria for admission in first year Master of Science(M.Sc.) : (i) Graduate in relevant stream from a recognized university (ii) Obtained qualifying score in any of the entrance test of state level or national level conducted by competent authority or a separate test conducted by Sanjay Ghodawat University, Kolhapur 4) School of Liberal Arts : (A) Under Graduate Program Eligibility Criteria for admission in first year Bachelor of Arts (BA): Passed HSC or its equivalent examination in any stream Three years of Diploma course after S.S.C i.e. standard X, of Board of Technical Education conducted by Government of Maharashtra or its equivalent. Intermediate Commerce/Arts examination from the Board of Secondary Education, with 4 subjects including General English Minimum Competency based vocational course by competent authority Passed DTEd after HSC (B) Post Graduate Program Eligibility Criteria for Master of Arts (MA) (i) Graduate in relevant stream from a recognized university. (ii) Admission will be based on merit in the qualifying examination. (iii)in case of equal score merit will be decided on the score of special subject.

8 Admission Cancellation Rules: After receiving duly signed admission cancellation request letter from the Candidate as per schedule published by the Sanjay Ghodawat University, the University shall cancel the admission immediately. The refund of fees on or before cut-off date of admission declared by the Sanjay Ghodawat University, shall be made within two days i.e. total fee minus the processing charges of Rs.1,000/-, or refund rule shall be as per the guidelines of the appropriate authorities or the State Government, as the case may be. If the admission is cancelled after the cut-off date of the admission declared by the Sanjay Ghodawat University, there shall be no refund except the Security Deposit and Caution Money Deposit. No institution, who has in its possession or custody, of any document in the form of certificates of degree, diploma or any other award or other document deposited with it by a person for the purpose of seeking admission in Sanjay Ghodawat University, shall refuse to return such degree, certificate award or other document with a view to induce or compel such person to pay any fee or fees in respect of any course or program of study which such person does not intend to pursue or avail any facility in University.
