Name of the Course: ADMISSION DETAILS (Tentative) Admissions for Mahire Tib (MD-Unani) in the following disciplines are in accordance with the permission as granted by Ministry of AYUSH, Govt. of India and approved by Kaloji Narayana Rao University of Health Sciences, Warangal, Telangana State. Speciality No. of seats (i) Moalajat (General Medicine) - 07 (Seven) (ii) Ilmul Advia (Pharmacology) - 07 (Seven) 2. Duration of the Course: 3 years 3. Minimum Qualification: A Candidate must have obtained the Kamil-e-Tibb-o-Jarahat (BUMS) Degree or any other degree in Unani Medicine as recognized by CCIM and must have completed 06 months/12 months internship/house job as the case may be, as per the university guidelines. 4. Reservations: i. 01 seat in each speciality would be reserved for the Eligible doctors /researchers /officers of Central Council for Research in Unani Medicine (CCRUM), Ministry of AYUSH, Government of India subject to qualifying the entrance test. ii. The seats remaining vacant if any, under CCRUM above category due to nonavailability/ non eligibility of Research Officers (In-service), will be filled up by the candidates from general pool. iii. For remaining six (06) seats in each speciality, reservations will be given to SC, ST, P.W.D, OBC (not belonging to creamy layer), and to any other category, as per the guidelines of Govt. of India issued from time to time. iv. OBC (Non creamy layer) candidates applying for the seat reserved for OBC should submit with his / her application a copy of the certificate regarding his / her OBC status & non creamy layer status issued on or before the closing date for receipt of application form as per advertisement. The certificate should be submitted as per the format given in DOPT, GOI OM No.36033/28/94- Estt(Res) dt.02/07/1992. In case the candidate mention himself/herself as belonging to OBC Category but not enclosing the certificate as required in the prescribed format, he/she shall be considered as General Candidate. v. In case of non-availability of the eligible candidates in any of the above reservation categories, the vacant seats will be filled up from the General Merit list, prepared on the basis of the performance in AIPGET vi. The candidate shall have right to choose only one category for reservation. vii. The candidates are required to visit the website of the University for any further notification and modifications in this regard. 2 P a g e

3 7. Determination of Merit: Merit will be determined as per rank and percentile secured in AIAPGET-2017 ( Unani.) MERIT LIST : Merit position of candidates shall be determined based on percentile and rank obtained in AIAPGET ( Unani. ) In case of equal rank / percentile among candidates the following criteria will be considered for determining merit rank. Total aggregate marks obtained in BUMS Course. ( 1st Year to Final Year ). In case of equality of above criteria the date of birth will be considered, candidate born earlier will be considered as first in merit rank. 8. Admission Procedure: (i) ii) iii) iv) Candidate has to apply on-line in response to notification issued by KNR University of Health Sciences for admission into MD (Unani) Course in colleges / institutes in Telangana State affiliated to KNR UHS, Warangal. The candidate is eligible for admission who has appeared in the All India Post Graduate Entrance Test conducted by Ministry of AYUSH, Govt. of India and has to appear in the Counselling to be conducted by the University. The Admission Committee shall scrutinise all the application forms The eligible candidates shall be admitted on the basis of merit, subject to availability of seats. 10. Application for Admission: Candidates can apply on-line in response to - notification issued by the KNRUHS University for MD Unani admissions for the academic year on web-site - For further details refer to notification and prospectus displayed on KNR UHS website Copies of certificates to be submitted at the time of Verification of Original Certificates and Counselling: Please refer to MD (Unani ) Prospectus on KNRUHS web-site for further details. 12. Registration and Counseling Fee: The registration fee is Rs. 4,000/- (Bank transaction charges extra) for OC/BC categories and Rs.3,000/- (Bank transaction charges extra) for SC/ST categories. For GOI Nominee candidates - Rs Bank charges 3 P a g e

Verification Fee: The candidates who acquired their Under Graduate Degree outside the State of Andhra Pradesh / Telangana or Country/Abroad and got their certificates registered with Council and applying for Entrance Test for admission under this University, shall pay a verification fee of Rs.5,000/- for degree certificates acquired Abroad and Rs.3,000/- for the degrees acquired outside the State. All the selected candidates shall pay the following fee in the form of crossed Demand Draft drawn on ANY NATIONALISED BANK in favour of Registrar, KNR University of Health Sciences payable at Warangal on the day of selection. The fee once paid shall not be refunded under any circumstances. University Fees /-(Rupees Fifteen Thousands only ) Tuition Fee As fixed by Ministry of AYUSH, Govt. of India. 14. Completion of Internship: (i) The date of completion of internship (ii) The right of admission of any candidate, who has not completed the internship within the above stipulated period, stands cancelled automatically. 15. Other Instructions to candidates: Candidates will have to make their own arrangement for stay in Hyderabad during the time of Counselling and no accommodation will be provided by the institute. The Counselling fee and the University Fee, Tuition fee are neither refundable nor transferable. Admission will be granted to the candidates subject to declaring medically fit. The competent authority / University reserves the right to accept/reject any Application Form or to amend any rules and regulations or cancel any admission without assigning any reason there of. No transfer of admission will be allowed from any other college in MD (Unani) Course. The original documents of admitted candidates will remain with Institute till completion of duration of the Course. All disputes are subject to Hyderabad jurisdiction only. 15. Specific Instructions for In-Service Candidates: (i) In-service candidates seeking admission against the seats reserved for the said category must submit their candidature in original Application Form along with NO OBJECTION CERTIFICATE duly forwarded by the Employer/ Directorate concerned up to the last date of submission of Application Forms. Otherwise their candidature will not be considered under the In-service category and they will be considered under General Category only. 4 P a g e

5 (ii) The In-service candidates found eligible in the AIAPGET-2017 Unani Entrance Test against the reserved seats are required to produce relieving orders from the Employer/Directorate concerned at the time of joining. Their joining will be accepted on production of relieving orders from the concerned department within the specified period as notified. Otherwise their admissions will stand cancelled and the vacant seats will be allotted to the waiting list candidates. iii) In service candidate should have completed 3 years of service as on Important Instructions: a) Seats shall be allotted to the qualified candidates purely on merit basis only b) University fee once paid shall not be refunded, if any candidate/s want/s to leave the course for any reason whatsoever. Candidate has to pay a discontinuation fee of Rs.1,00,000/- ( Rupees One Lakh only ), if the candidate discontinues the course after joining. Candidate has to submit a bond to the same effect. c) If any candidate leaves the course in between he / she shall repay the entire stipend received along with discontinuation fee. d) If any candidate applied for job anywhere, during the course, such candidate will not be relieved from the course to join the Post till completion of the Course. 5 P a g e
