8 6 ) Scholarship for Management (General) Seats MBBS FREE-SHIP AND MERIT-CUM-MEANS SCHOLARSHIP* Free-ship* Merit-cum-Means* Course for NEET All India Overall Rank up for NEET All India Overall Rank up to to MBBS 1,000 5,000 The Freeship & merit-cum-means Scholarship taken together is limited to 5% of the general category intake and will cover only the course fee payable for the particular course of study. This scholarship will not cover the expenses such as hostel accommodation, books etc NOTE: Candidates are required to pay full first year course fee at the time of joining and the scholarship amount will be refunded after completion of the entire admission process. FREESHIP: Candidates who have secured within 1,000 rank for MBBS course are eligible for the 100 % freeship. MERIT-CUM-MEANS SCHOLARSHIP: Candidates with NEET all India Overall Rank 1001 to 5000 for MBBS course are eligible for merit-cummeans scholarship. Scholarship amount shall be determined based on the parents annual income (from all sources) as mentioned below: Annual income of parents Scholarship on course fee* Upto Rs.3 lakhs 100% Above Rs.3 lakhs upto Rs.5 lakhs 90% Above Rs.5 lakhs upto Rs.7.5 lakhs 75% Above Rs.7.5 lakhs upto Rs.10 lakhs 50% Above Rs.10 lakhs upto Rs.12.5 lakhs 25% Above Rs.12.5 lakhs 10% * Candidate needs to pay a minimum of Rs.10, 000/- or Course Fee after deducting scholarship amount whichever is higher. In addition, candidate needs to pay the refundable Caution Deposit of Rs. 10,000/-. Eligible candidates should produce attested photocopy of the latest Income Tax (IT) return form for proof of parents income at the time of counseling/admission. Non-working parent should produce a notarized affidavit indicating that they are not employed. The award of freeship & merit-cum-means scholarship for the subsequent years will be same as given at the time of admission in the first year. The percentage of scholarship amount will be constant throughout the course duration, irrespective of changes in income group. Continuation of scholarship for subsequent years will be based on academic performance of the students in the university exam as per the University rules.
