8 Requesting Transcripts 1. You received a Transcript Release form on the 1st day of school. - Must be completed and submitted!

9 Requesting Transcripts 2. Complete Transcript Request Form (one form per school you re applying to) Tailor each form to each school TURN IN WELL BEFORE DEADLINE Provide counselors with at least 12 school days to process requests

10 Self-Reported Academic Records (SRAR) 1. Complete application 2. Submit Transcript Request Form: Select: 1. Examples of Colleges Using SRAR: a. University of Pittsburgh b.penn State University

22 When you move or add a college(s) to the Application list you will be asked to indicate what decision plan you are using: Regular decision, Rolling, etc.

23 You will then be able to select what type of application you are using: CA, School app, Universal, Coalition, etc.

24 Teacher Letter of Recommendation a. Politely ask teacher in person b. If they say Yes provide them with a Teacher Recommendation Form i. (Located in Counseling Office and Document Library) c. Add teacher on Family Connection-see Letters of Rec in the pages section of FC for instructions

26 Teacher Letters of Recommendation Before you can add a teacher to your FC account the college for which the teacher is writing must be listed in Colleges I m Applying To You can only add one teacher at a time

27 Adding a teacher to FC, cont. After you have a college or colleges in the Colleges I m Applying to section you can add teacher recommenders (but only for those colleges in the active list) Refer to Letters of rec in the pages section of FC for instructions on how to add teachers

31 Decision Outcomes 1. Accepted You have until May 1st to notify college 2. Rejected Don t take it personally 3. Waitlisted Notify college immediately if you want to remain on the waitlist.

Check the listing frequently (Scholarships are added - become available throughout the year 2. Be sure to attend the Financial Aid Night on Thursday, September 21 at 6:30 pm in the LGI
