3 GREENHILL SCHOOL ONLINE APPLICATION INSTRUCTIONS General Guidelines Please make note of your username and password. Please use proper capitalization when completing your application. Applications using improper capitalization (i.e. all caps or all lower case) will not be processed. Some fields are system defined and will only allow for a certain number of characters. Please abbreviate where necessary. Saving Your Application Information is automatically saved when you click on another tab or click the Next Page or Previous Page button. However, you may save your application at any time during the completion process by clicking the Save button located at the bottom of the form. Please note that when you click on a Save button you will leave the form and will be directed to the Application Status Page. It is not necessary to save your application upon completing each section; however, please save frequently should your internet connection be lost. Returning to and Editing Your Application You may sign in at any time to continue working on your application. Please follow the link found on the Admission Home Page back to the Sign in/registration Page. After signing in you will return to your Application Status Page where you can choose to Edit, Remove or Copy any current applications you have saved. Submitting Your Application Greenhill School will receive your online application after you click the Submit button. This button is found at the bottom of the last tab of the application, the Financial Aid tab. All required fields must be completed. Any required field that has not been completed will be highlighted in red. Please fill in a response in order to complete and submit your online application. The deadline for submission of a Prekindergarten, Kindergarten and/or Grade 1 through Grade 4 application is December 8, The deadline for submission of a Grade 5 through Grade 12 application is January 5, 2018 Online Application Payment Upon submitting your application to Greenhill School, you will be directed to the Online Payment page. Payment for the online application must be made with Visa, Mastercard, American Express or echeck. To pay via echeck you will need your ABA Routing Number as well as your Bank Account Number. 4 The non-refundable application fee for Pre-kindergarten through Grade 4 is $100; the non-refundable application fee for Grades 5 through 12 is $175. The Greenhill School faculty and staff application fee is $25. Upon completion of the payment process, you will be directed to your Application Status Page where you may view your completed application, upload a picture of your applicant, print a complete copy of your application or view the status of your application requirements. Your application will not be processed without payment. Printing a Complete Copy of Your Application After submitting your application, you may print a complete copy. The link to print a copy is found in the main table of the Application Status Page. Uploading a Photo of Your Applicant You may upload a photo of your child after submitting your application. The link to upload a student photo is found in the main table of the Application Status Page. Please upload a current photo of your child. We will use this photo to help identify applicants during visits. Photos will not be used for selection purposes and are not required. Only one photo is allowed per applicant. Photos may be a maximum of 800x600 pixels at 72dpi. Checking the Status of Your Application Requirements After submitting your application, you may sign in at any time to check the status of your application. The link to access the Application Requirements Page is located in the main table of the Application Status Page. For us to consider your application complete, the forms listed on the Application Requirements Page MUST be received by January 19, The Admission Office will work quickly to update the system when documents are received from the applicant's current school or third-party administrator. However, due to the large volume of documents handled, processing time may take up to two weeks from the date of receipt. Please allow this two week processing time from the January 19 th deadline for all records to be updated. Greenhill will attempt to contact you if a form or required document has not been received. Please note the January 19 th deadline is not applicable to any testing or interviews that may be scheduled after that date. Applicant Interest/Activities Form, Student Questionaire and Essay, and $175 non-refundable application fee by January 5, Provide Greenhill School with your child s current English and Math teachers names and work addresses on the application. Greenhill School will use this information to send an online Confidential Teacher Evaluation form to your child s current teachers. The English and Math Teacher Evaluation forms must be completed and submitted to Greenhill School by January 19, Provide your child s current school with the Official Transcript/Progress Report Release form. Official Transcripts or Progress Reports must be submitted to Greenhill School by January 19, Complete an ISEE testing at Greenhill or another local private school by February 11, Register for the ISEE testing at You must be registered at least three weeks prior to the test date. Complete a full-day visit or applicant interview. The Admission Office will send a link to schedule visit dates upon receipt of the application forms. A full-day visit is strongly encouraged. If a full-day visit is not possible, students must schedule an Interview Only appointment by checking the appropriate box on the online application or by contacting John Thompson at thompsonj@greenhill.org or If applying for financial aid, complete the financial aid application by February 15, Financial aid decisions will be sent with admission decisions on March 9, Admission decisions will be ed on March 9, 2018, after 4:00 p.m. to those applicants meeting the above deadlines.
