1 FIRST YEAR ENGINEERING ADMISSION (BE) FOR THE ACADEMIC YEAR Centralized admission process will be conducted by Directorate of Technical Education, Maharashtra State. Eligibility : Eligibility criteria for Maharashtra State Candidate: The Candidate should be an Indian National : Passed HSC or its equivalent examination with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with one of the Chemistry or Biotechnology or Biology or Technical or Vocational subjects and obtained at least 50 % marks (at least 45 % marks, in case of Backward class categories and Persons with Disability candidates belonging to Maharashtra State only) in the above subjects taken together Passed Diploma in Engineering and Technology and obtained at least 50 % marks (at least 45 % marks, in case of Backward class categories and Persons with Disability candidates belonging to Maharashtra State only) Passed B.Sc. Degree from a Recognized University as defined by University Grants Commission and obtained at least 50 % marks (at least 45 % marks, in case of Backward class categories and Persons with Disability candidates belonging to Maharashtra State only) Obtained score in CET or JEE Main Paper I. All India Candidature Candidates, Jammu and Kashmir Migrant Candidature Candidates. 5 DIRECT SECOND YEAR ENGINEERING ADMISSION AFTER DIPLOMA FOR THE ACADEMIC YEAR Eligibility : Eligibility criteria for Maharashtra State Candidate: The Candidate should be an Indian National: Passed Diploma Course in Engineering and Technology with at least 45% marks (40% marks in case of candidates of Backward class categories and Persons with Disability belonging to Maharashtra State only) in appropriate branch of Engineering and Technology from an All India Council for Technical Education or Central or State Government approved Institution or its equivalent Passed B.Sc. Degree from a University Grants Commission (UGC) or Association of Indian Universities recognized University with at least 45% marks (40% in case of candidates of Backward class categories and Persons with Disability belonging to Maharashtra State only) and passed HSC with Mathematics as a subject Provided that students belonging to this category shall clear the subjects of Engineering Graphics/ Engineering Drawing and Engineering Mechanics of the first year Engineering Program along with second year subjects. Any other criterion declared by appropriate authority The Candidate must be an Indian National and should have passed Post-SSC or Post-HSC Diploma Course in Engineering/Technology with at least 45 % marks (40 % marks in case of candidates of backward class categories and Persons with Disability belonging only to Maharashtra State) in appropriate branch of Engineering / Technology from an AICTE approved Institution with English as the medium of instruction at Diploma level. Type "A : Maharashtra State : Candidate Passing SSC (Std.X)/HSC (Std.XII) Examination or any other Equivalent Examination from a Recognized School / College in Maharashtra State and Diploma Examination / B. 6 Type "B : Candidate/ Father or Mother is Maharashtra Domiciled: Candidate and Candidate / Father or Mother of the candidate is domiciled in the State of Maharashtra. Type "C : Sons and Daughters of Central Govt. / Govt. of India Undertaking Employee : Does not satisfy as Type -A and Type-B Candidate and Father/Mother of the candidate is an employee of the Government of India or Government of India Undertaking who is posted and reported to duty in Maharashtra State before the last date for submitting the Application Form for Centralized Admission. Type "D": Sons and Daughters of Maharashtra State/ Maharashtra State Undertaking Employees: Does not satisfy as Type A, Type-B and Type-C Candidate and Father/ Mother of the candidate is an employee of the Government of Maharashtra/ Government of Maharashtra Undertaking. Such candidates are required to submit the proof of his/her father/ mother being the employee of Government of Maharashtra/ Government of Maharashtra Undertaking. 7 Eligibility : ME ADMISSION FOR THE ACADEMIC YEAR Eligibility criteria for Maharashtra State Candidate: The Candidate should be an Indian National Passed Bachelor Degree in the relevant field of Engineering and Technology from All India Council for Technical Education or Central or State Government approved institutions or equivalent, with at least 50% marks (at least 45% marks in case of candidates of Backward class categories and persons with disability belonging to Maharashtra State only) Passed Bachelor Degree in the relevant course of Engineering and Technology as specified in the eligibility criteria for admission to a Post Graduate Degree course of the concerned University for which admission is being sought Obtained score in Graduates Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) conducted by Indian Institute of Technology; For sponsored candidates, minimum of two years of full time work experience in a registered firm/ company/ industry/ educational and/ or research institute/ any Government Department or Government Autonomous ganization in the relevant field in which admission is being sought. All the specialization wise admission to the AICTE approved two years Master Degree course in Engineering in the state of Maharashtra for the academic year onwards shall be done on the basis of Non Zero GATE score only. No specialization wise entrance examination for ME admission for the academic year be conducted by the Directorate of Technical Education, Maharashtra State. 8 Eligibility : Candidate should be an Indian National and who possess Bachelors degree or equivalent in the relevant field of Engineering/Technology from an AICTE/MHRD approved institutions, as specified by the concerned University for which admission is being sought to a particular Post graduate course/specialization, with at least 50 % Aggregate marks (at least 45% marks in case of candidates of Backward class categories and persons with disability belonging to Maharashtra State only) OR Appeared for the final year examination of Bachelors degree or equivalent in the relevant field of Engineering/Technology from an AICTE/MHRD approved institutions, as specified by the concerned University for which admission is being sought to a particular Post graduate course/specialization. 9 ADMISSIONS TO FIRST YEAR OF TWO YEAR FULL TIME POST GRADUATE COURSES IN MANAGEMENT (MBA) FOR THE ACADEMIC YEAR Eligibility : Eligibility criteria for Maharashtra State Candidate: The candidate should be an Indian National; Passed minimum Three year duration Bachelors Degree awarded by any of the Universities recognized by University Grants Commission or Association of Indian Universities in any discipline with at least 50% marks in aggregate or equivalent ( at least 45% in case of candidates of backward class categories and Persons With Disability belonging to Maharashtra State only) or its equivalent; Obtained score in CET conducted by the Competent Authority. 10 Eligibility criteria: Passed with minimum of 50% marks in aggregate or equivalent CGPA (minimum 45% marks in case of candidates of backward class categories and persons with Disability belonging only to Maharashtra State) in any Bachelor s degree awarded by any of the Universities incorporated by an act of the central or state legislature in India or Educational institutions established by an act of Parliament or declared to be deemed as a University under Section 3 of the UGC Act, 1956 of minimum three years duration in any discipline recognized by the Association of Indian Universities, or possess an equivalent qualification recognized by the Ministry of HRD, Government of India. (Candidates appearing for final year of qualifying examination are also eligible to appear for CET) AND Maharashtra State and Out of Maharashtra State (OMS) candidates who have appeared for GMAC, USA)/ CMAT 2016 (Conducted by AICTE)/MAT (conducted by AIMA in February 2016)/ XAT (conducted by XLRI)/ ATMA (conducted by AIMS)/ MAH- MBA/MMS-CET 2016 are considered to be eligible for admission.
