Teacher/472/2016/6210 Date: Kahilipara the 1 st October,2016 With a view to support, strengthen and improve the quality of Elementary Education in the State of Assam in compliance with the Right to Education Act,2009 and with a view to ensure availability of teachers in Lower and Upper Schools of Assam especially in high pupil-teacher ratio (PTR) schools of remote and isolated areas and subject to the approval of Post-Based Roaster Register from WPT & BC Department and Personal Department, Online applications are hereby invited in prescribed format from LP & UP Teacher Eligibility Test (TET) qualified candidates with professional qualification, who are Citizens of India as defined in Article 5 to 8 of the Constitution of India and permanent resident of Assam, for filling up of following positions of Assistant teachers at Lower and Upper School on contractual basis under the Sarva Shiksha Abhiyan, Assam as shown in the tables below. The category wise number of vacancy may increase or decrease after obtaining approval from concerned Department. The posts are mainly available in remote areas of Assam and the interested candidates must be physically and mentally ready to serve in these remote areas. This has the approval of the Education Department, Govt. of Assam. A candidate must be not less than 18 years of age and not more than 43 years of age as on 1 st January,2016. Relaxation of upper age limit will be applicable for SC, ST (P), ST (H) & PH candidates for another 5 years, as per Govt. of Assam OM ABP.06/2016/04, dtd The eligible candidates shall apply online in the website from 10 AM of to midnight of No offline application will be received. 3. The online application and documents submitted by the candidates will be verified along with their original testimonials, in the respective s by the Level Selection Committee. The -wise detailed schedule of verification of documents will be notified in the Notice Board of the Office of the Mission Co-ordinator (SSA) concerned. No TA/DA is admissible for appearing in the verification process. 4. The level verification will be held in the respective districts from to The regular or contractual teachers working in Lower schools are not allowed to apply any posts in Lower schools. The regular or contractual teachers working in Upper schools are not allowed to apply any posts in Upper schools. However, regular and contractual Lower teachers if otherwise eligible may apply in Upper schools. 6. In case of detection of application of already working teacher as mentioned in the point no.5, even after the issue of appointment letter will result in cancellation of selection of such candidate. 7. A candidate can apply only in one district mentioned above. 8. In case of differently able (PH) candidates, only Orthopedically Handicapped candidates may apply. 9. The Contractual teachers will get all facilities including leave & other allowances as per Government norms. 10. There shall be reservation of post for SC/ST (Plains)/ST (Hills)/OBC/MOBC/Physically Handicapped candidates as per norms. 11. The procedure of selection shall be as per Government rules. Marks obtained by the candidates in TET/CTET, academic qualification, professional qualification and excellence at NCC ( B or C certificate), State level sports, cultural activities will be taken into consideration for preparing the district wise select list. 12. Before submission, the system will ask, whether the submitted information is correct or not. A confirmation question will appear before final submission which should be confirmed to submit the online application. Without confirmation, the application will not be accepted by the system and as a result the application will not be considered valid one. Candidates can also modify the entered data before final confirmation and submission. The candidate can take a print out copy of his/her submitted document only after submitting the information to the on-line system. After submitting the information in the on-line form, the candidate must get the print out of the application form on A4 size paper. In the print-out, candidate will get space for signature. The printed signed application should be submitted along with attested copies of mark sheet and certificate in support of educational qualification, medium, caste, physically handicapped for further authentication of his/her candidature at the time of screening and verification of original documents. Candidates should be very cautious while submitting the on line application form as once the online application is submitted against a particular Roll number of TET/CTET, he/ she will not be allowed to submit the online application form for second time. iii. After submitting the online application form, the candidate will get a Unique Number against the submitted application. The candidate should keep the record of the Unique Number for all future reference. iv. The candidate should note that failing to appear before Level Selection & Verification Committee for verification of documents on the scheduled date and time will result in cancellation of his/her candidature. No further communication in this regard will be made. v. The Office will not be responsible for any lapse in submission of online application due to any technical problem. 5

The following original certificates and documents have to be produced and attested copies of the same to be submitted before the Level Screening & Verification Committee on the specified date- a. Pass certificate and Mark sheet of Higher Secondary and Graduation. b. Pass Certificate, Admit Card and Marksheet of High School Leaving Examination. c. Pass Certificate and Mark sheet of Professional Qualification like D. El Ed, B.Ed. etc. d. Pass Certificate and Mark Sheet of TET/CTET e. Certificates in support of Schedule Caste/ Schedule Tribe (Plains or Hills)/ OBC/ MOBC f. Candidates with disabilities (Orthopedically Disabled) will have to enclose certificates of disabilities. g. Certificate of NCC (B & C certificate only), Sports and Cultural ( Representing State or Nation). vii. The teachers (Contractual), so selected will have no claim for any appointment whatsoever against any regular vacancy or permanent absorption in the school or in the Education Department in future. viii. The teachers will be posted in the schools having the medium of instruction as per the medium (language-i) of the candidate in the TET. ix.
