The Institute is affiiated to Nationa Counci for Hote Management And Catering Technoogy (NCHMCT), Noida which is an apex body that runs and reguates academics for BSc. Hospitaity & Hote Administration and Dipoma programs in core operationa areas. The Institute foows standardized course curricua prescribed by NCHMCT for different professiona programs. Quaity of education and training provided by the Institute hep students to emerge as professionay quaified personne for hospitaity and other aied service sectors. 4 HOW TO APPLY Duy fied prescribed appication forms must be submitted in the Institute by prescribed date announced separatey. Incompete appications/ate appications wi be rejected. Institute wi not be responsibe for non-receipt/ate receipt of appication forms, seection memos and other correspondence regarding admission. Foreign nationas shoud route their appication with a necessary particuars such as Passport Number, Visa, Pace of Birth, Nativity etc. through their Embassy. Candidates must bring origina certificates/documents at the time of interview for verification. Candidates must attach attested copies of foowing certificates/documents aong with the appication form: i) Date of Birth Certificate ii) Certificate of good heath from a Registered Medica Practitioner as per attached format. iii) Decaration certificate as per attached format. iv) Certificate(s) of educationa quaifications, incuding detaied mark sheet. v) Certificate in support of beonging to a Schedues Caste/Backward Caste to be issued by officer not beow the rank of Tehsidar. vi) Character certificate from the head of the Institution ast attended. If gap period is more than a year, character certificate shoud be issued by Gazetted Officer of State or Centra Government / Sarpanch/MLA. vii) 6 passport size photographs simiar to one pasted on the appication form. viii) Appicabe handicap certificate as per government norms. POST MATRIC SCHOLARSHIP Post matric schoarship is avaiabe for SC/BC candidates under respective state government poicy. PAYMENT OF FEES Fee is payabe in two instaments (1st at the time of admission and 2nd in the month of December or as decided by the Principa) through Bank Chaan/Demand Draft faiing which candidate wi be debarred from the course. Fee once paid wi not be refunded under any circumstances. CAUTION MONEY DEPOSIT : Caution money wi be refunded after competion of the course after deducting fines/breakages etc. Appication for refund of caution money in between course wi not be entertained. COMMENCEMENT OF SESSION AND WORKING HOURS OF THE INSTITUTE Commencement of the session wi be intimated at the time of admission. One & Haf Year's Dipoma courses offered by the Institute are fu time reguar courses. Academic Hours from 09:00 AM to 05:00 PM. 6 INSTITUTE OF HOTEL MANAGEMENT TILYAR LAKE, ROHTAK REGULATIONS OF THE INSTITUTE OF HOTEL MANAGEMENT 1. RAGGING in the Institute is stricty prohibited and any matter, if reported, name of the defauter woud be struck off the ro of the Institute. 2. Every student must, on admission obtain an Identity Card which wi be suppied from the Institute's office. The student must aways carry the card with his photograph affixed on the same and present it for inspection when demanded. No student wi be aowed to attend casses, practica etc. uness he or she has his/her Identity card with him/her. 3. Student must attend theory casses, practica and tutorias of the Institute and take part in assignments arranged by the Institute for hands on experience. Students must not absent themseves from any of the Institute's curricuar and co-curricuar activity without the prior permission of the Principa. Such absence without eave may ead to oss of term, since to keep a term a Student has to compete to the satisfaction of the Principa the course of study prescribed for the cass to which the student beongs. Each student is required to compete 75% attendance faiing which he or she wi be disquaified from sitting for the fina examination. 3. Students must not attend any cass other than their own without permission of the Principa. 4. Conduct of the students in their casses as we as in premises of the institute sha be such that wi not cause any disturbance to the feow students or to other casses. The principa may expe a student whose work or conduct is not satisfactory and the fees paid wi be forfeited. 5. Students must not oiter about the Institute premises whie the casses are on. 6. Smoking is not permitted inside the Institute's Campus. 7. Students sha do nothing either inside or outside the Institute that may in any way interfere with its ordinary administration and discipine. 8. No Society sha be formed in the Institute and no person invited to address a meeting without the prior permission of the principa. 9. In debates and other meetings the chair must be taken by a responsibe person approved by the Principa and the subject of debates must aso have previous approva of the Principa. 10. No student wi take active part in current poitics 11. No student shoud communicate any Information or write about matters deaing with the Institute administration to press. 12. Students are expected to take proper care of the Institute's property and to hep in keeping the premises neat and tidy. Any damage done to property of the Institute by disfiguring was. doors, or breaking furniture fittings etc. is a breach of discipine and iabe to severe punishment, recovery of oss and fines

If for any reason the continuance of a student in the institute is detrimenta to the best interest of the Institute in the opinion of the Principa,which sha be fina and binding,the Principa may ask such students to eave the Institute without giving reason for his decision. 14. Absence without eave is considered a breach of discipine and is iabe for fines. No eave wi be granted without previous appication, except in case of iness or emergency. Prior permission must be obtained for a other eave form the Principa who wi consider the appication on individua merits. 15. Name of the student, continuousy absenting himsef for five days without permission, sha be struck off the Institute ros. The students can be readmitted on a payment of readmission fee of Rs within five working days in case the Principa is satisfied that the absence was due to circumstances beyond the contro of the student. A candidate who does not join the course after depositing the fee for ten continuous working days or a candidate whose name is struck off from the ro of the Institute and he/she does not seek re- admission for 5 working days from the day his/her name was struck off, his/her admission wi canceed and seat(s) wi be given to the candidate(s) on the ist. 16. Students when free shoud make use of the Institute's Library and must not oiter about on the premises of the Institute. 17. Non-compiance of the rues of the Institute can aso be deat by means of suitabe fines and discipinary action. 18. Candidates are not aowed to do any part time job or any other Course of education aong with the training. Defauter sha be terminated at the soe discretion of Principa. 19. The Institute's authority cannot accept any iabiity in respect of any accident a student may sustain whie engaged in practica work, vocationa work, or due to any other cause. 20. The students shoud instruct their friends/reatives not to ca them on the office teephone. The students are aso, prohibited to use the office teephone. 21. Parents are advised to reguary check website of the Institute " updates and progress of their chid. It is aso advisabe for parents to keep in touch with the institute. 22. Fee once paid is not refundabe under any circumstances. No caim, whatsoever, wi be entertained in this regard. 23. Students have to perform duties from time to time in various events. They may aso be deputed to other catering estabishments for hands on training. Principa

8 RULES FOR HOSTEL RESIDENTS 1. Foowing rues and reguations are to be stricty adhered to by the residents of the hoste in the campus; in case of any vioation of the said rues strict discipinary action woud be taken against the student. 2. RAGGING in the hoste is stricty prohibited and any matter reported, the name of the student woud be struck off the ro of the Institute. 3. Hosters are required to maintain the hoste and mess timings as per the foowing schedue: a) Hoste gate wi open in the morning at a.m. Entry in the hoste is not aowed after p.m. However no femae student is aowed to move out of the campus without the permission of the warden. b) The hoste woud remain cosed from a.m. to p.m. hrs during working days of the coege. No student shoud stay back in the hoste during these hours. Permission woud be granted ony by the warden in case of an emergency. c) Mess timings are as foows: Breakfast a.m. to a.m. Lunch p.m. to p.m. Evening tea p.m. to p.m. Dinner a.m. to p.m. (On weekends and hoidays breakfast wi be served from 9.A.M. to 9.30 A.M.) d) If due to any reason a hoste resident does not want to take any mea he / she wi have to inform the mess incharge four hrs in advance, faiing which a fine of Rs. 50/- wi be charged. 4. (a) A the girs are directed to go to the mess for the mea in proper sawar- kameez and dupatta (any gir not abiding by the dress code woud not be permitted in the mess). (b) A the boys are required to wear proper cothes to go mess, under no circumstances boys in haf pant / Bermuda/seeveess cothes etc. wi be aowed to dine in the mess or wak in the campus. 5. Permission to go home woud be granted by the warden ony after she / he has got the consent of the parents over the phone. 6. Permission for the weekend outings to be taken from the warden on the ast working day of the week (Friday) in the coege itsef. No student to approach the warden at her / his residence for the grant of permission on weekends. 7. In case of any i heath the student woud be taken immediatey to the nearest hospita but the expenses of the medicine and incase of any treatment have to be borne by the student itsef. 8. Each hosteer is required to maintain 75% attendance in theory and practica casses, in case of shortage of attendance the hoste faciity woud be withdrawn from the student.

9 9. Use of eectric iron, heater, eectrica appiances and music system is not aowed in the hoste. In case anyone found using the same woud be confiscated from the student. 10. Cooking in any part of the hoste is not aowed. 11. Each Hosteer is required to bring with him his her own mattress, bedding, bucket and mug. Each hosteer wi be provided one bed, one study chair and one tabe. 12. Hosteers are required to take care of their own beongings and vauabes. Each student wi be provided one ockabe cupboard. Institute wi not be responsibe oss of any vauabes. 13. Day schoar are not aowed in the hoste, if any hosteer is found entertaining day schoar in his / her room, strict action wi be taken against him / her eading to expusion from the hoste or imposition of fine. 14. Each hosteer is required to perform specific duties in the mess on rotation basis as per the directives of the mess in charge. 15. Ony pastic bottes wi be aowed to keep water in the room. 16. Consumption of acoho, drug and smoking is stricty prohibited in the hoste. Defauters wi be asked to vacate the hoste immediatey. 17. Hosteers are required to keep their room and surroundings cean and do sweeping in the room and keep dust bin outside their room, in case anybody's room found dirty a fine of Rs.100 woud be charged (after a warning). 18. Hosteers are advised to maintain the hoste property in good condition and anybody found deiberatey destroying the same woud be charged a fine and woud be bound to repair/repace the item damaged. 19. Hosteers are required to switch off the ights and fans when not in use as power backups wi remain active ony for four hours. Whie eaving the hoste on the competion of the term, hosteers are required to handover their room to the Maintenance In charge and obtain No Dues Certificate. The amount of any damages wi be recovered from hoste caution money. 20. Students are directed not to approach any facuty or staff member's residence in the campus for any persona or officia matter as a matters are to be sorted out in the coege itsef during the coege timings. 21. The students staying in the hoste are advised not to give their mobie nos. to anybody or ese, they woud themseves be responsibe for any prank cas or SMS. 22. For the aotment of the room in the hoste, decision of the warden wi be fina and binding for a the Hosteers. 23. No parent / friend / reatives wi be aowed to stay in the hoste. 24. Resident of the boys' hoste wi be aowed to go out after Institute hrs up to 7 P.M. to purchase daiy needs. On weekends and hoidays boys can go out from 10 A.M. to 6P.M. For night out written permission of warden is compusory.

10 25. No resident of girs' hoste wi be aowed to move out of the campus without the written permission of girs' hoste warden on any day at any time. 26. Ony parents (Mother & Father) wi be aowed meet the resident of gir's hoste. If parents are authorizing any reative (even brother or sister) friend then they shoud submit in writing and affix the photograph of authorized visitors on the hoste appication form. 27. A students are supposed to bring their own individua CFL/LED Tabe Lamps for studying. 28. Whie eaving for unch, dinner, casses or on weekends, a ights & fan must be switched off or ese fine of Rs. 200/-wi be imposed. 29. At the end of each semester a student sha vacate his/her room within three days after the fina examination of the course is over and hand over the charge of the room incuding a items on the inventory to the caretaker-or-any other officia of the hoste authorized by warden. 30. Pasting of poster, writing on was, sogans of any kind or defacing the hoste in any form is not aowed. 31. The Hoste management reserves the right to make spot checks without having to give prior notice to the students. 32. Hosteers are advised to ock a doors at a times for security reasons. 33. The hoste management is not responsibe for any oss of private property. Hosters are strongy advised to ock a your vauabe e.g. mobie phones, aptop, watches, money etc at a time. 34. Hosteers are not permitted to change rooms or seep anywhere other than their own room. 35. Hosteers are not permitted to undertake any part-time job or join part time courses uness with approva of Hoste Warden. 36. Shouting, caing out, whisting and singing aoud wi not be toerated in the hoste. 37. A the students must bring their dinner pate, gass in the mess dining ha during breakfast / unch/dinner time. 38. Pate sharing is not aowed. Fine wi be imposed on defauters. 39. Students are not aowed to carry food in their room. 40. In case of oss of key by the occupant, security must be informed to open the ock. Damaging bot/atch wi attract pena action.
