For more information, please visit our website at: Qualifications: Applicants must hold a Ph.D. (or expected in 2018) in a relevant discipline or program with a strong background in criminological theory and methods, and demonstrate excellence in teaching. expertise in critical criminology, criminological theory, methodology, and interdisciplinary approaches to criminology and criminal justice will be strongly favoured. The successful candidate will teach in the undergraduate program of Criminology & Criminal Justice, including courses in Introduction to Criminology and Criminal Justice, Criminological Theories, special topics at the third- and fourth-year level, and one or both of Quantitative Research Methods and Qualitative Research Methods. There are no research expectations associated with this position. Application instructions: Applications should include: (i) a cover letter outlining the applicant s current and future research and teaching interests; (ii) a curriculum vitae; and (iii) materials relevant to teaching experiences and teaching philosophy. Please have three referees submit letters of recommendation. All of these materials should be sent, in one single PDF, to the Director of the Institute of Criminology and Criminal Justice at evelyn.maeder@carleton.ca.
