1 INFORMATION OF SEMINARS/WORKSHOP/AWARDS/VISITS/CAMPS Participation in sickle cell anemia camp: - A sickle cell anemia camp was organized on 12 to at Dhadgaon, Nandurbar District in which 806 patients were investigated. These patients were provided free treatment including medicine. Our college staff and students have willingly participated in this camp to provide the treatment and investigation of patients. Participation in West Zone inter university Lawn Tennis (Women) tournament :- Our College student Ujwala Yamgar has represented in the event of West Zone Inter University Lawn Tennis (Women) tournament held on 5 to 8th Oct 2015 at I.I.S. University Jaipur, Rajasthan state. Workshop on Animal experiments in Drug Evaluation: - All Preliminary M.D. (Ayu) students of Rasashastra Bhaishajya Kalpana department admitted during the academic year have attended the workshop on Animal experiments in Drug Evaluation on at Bharati Vidyapeeth, Pune on These students have also visited animal house and Pharmacy of Bharati Vidyapeeth, Pune. Visit to observe the M.L.C. and Poisoning cases in Sasoon Hospital: - Our M.D. (Ayu) students of Agad Tantra department have visited to Sasoon Government Hospital, Pune to observe the M.L.C. and Poisoning cases on along with their teacher s. This was an academic visit planned by the department. Visit of UG & P.G. students to snake park, Pune: - All 2 nd year B.A.M.S & M.D. (Ayu) students of our College have visited to snake park, Pune. This tour was organized by Department of Swasthavritta as an academic visit. Lecture on Diabetes & Nutrition:- A Lecture of Dr. Priyali Shah was successfully conducted on Diabetes & Nutrition for our Staffs & Students on in our College. Medical Education Technology Course :- The following Teachers of our College have successfully completed Medical Education Technology Course from to at M.U.H.S. Regional Centre Aundh, Pune :- 1. Dr. Deepali Suresh Rajput - Lecturer 2. Dr. Trupti Kalyan Gawade - Lecturer 3. Dr. Gayatri Sawant - Lecturer Celebration of World Heart Day: - Our College has celebrated as a World Heart Day. The staff of Swasthavritta department has given awareness to the people as well as to the patients available in our Ayurved Hospital regarding keeping their heart healthy. 1 st International conference on Advances in Asian Medicine 2016:- Dr. Kalpana Sathe of our College has participated in 1 st International conference on Advances in Asian Medicine 2016 held from to at Pune as a delegate and also presented a paper.

2 International Conference on different modalities of Maharshi Ayurveda including pulse diagnosis aroma therapy & instruction in the transcendental meditation technique: - A BAMS student of our College Miss Sharayu Sanjay Kachole has attended an International Conference on different modalities of Maharshi Ayurveda including pulse diagnosis aroma therapy and instruction in the transcendental meditation technique held at Roermond, the Netherland from 11 to Organizing Health Checkup camp:- Under the Swacha Bharat Abhiyaan, a health checkup camp was organized by our College on at Z.P. School, Ovalwadi. Total 41 students were medically checked up by our experts. Department of Swasthavritta & Yoga and Shalakya Tantra have participated in this camp. National Seminar on Rasashastra & Bhaishajya Kalpana :- Dr. Mohini Raut, a P.G. student of our College has participated in National Seminar on Rasashastra & Bhaishajya Kalpana organized by K.V.G. Ayurved College, Khuliya, Karnataka on 10 th & 11 th Dec She was awarded with 3 rd prize in poster presentation during the Seminar. National seminar on Ayurvedic Management in Endocrine Disorder: - The following teachers of our Swasthavritta Department have participated in National Seminar on Ayurvedic Management in Endocrine Disorder on held at Tilak Ayurved Mahavidyalaya, Pune :- 1. Lecture on Sutshekhar Rasa Sidhant to vyavasay (Concept of practice): - A lecture of Dr. Mahesh Thakur was organized on Sutshekhar Rasa Sidhant to vyavasay (concept of practice ) in our College on for Students & Teachers. Participation in Avishkar Training Camp :- Dr. Vrinda Kaknurkar, Professor, of our College has participated in training camp of Avishkar held at University regional Center,Aundh, Pune on International Conference on Advances in Asian Medicine :- Dr. Mrs. Nilakshi Pradhan, Dr, Kalpana Sathe, Dr. Rashmi Kale, Dr. Girish Kulkarni, Dr. Yogesh Bhatambre, Dr. Vandana Avhad, Dr. Pranita Joshi-Deshmukh, Dr. Sandip Mali have participated on in the International Conference on Advances in Asian Medicine organized by I.A.S.T.A.M. 3 One day workshop on Online submission of examination form organized by MKCL:- Dr. Nilesh Phule & Mr. Chandrashekhar Pawar of our College have attended a one day workshop on Online submission of examination form organized by MKCL on at Maharashtra University of Health Sciences, Nashik. Lecture on Anti Ragging:- An introductory lecture on anti-ragging has been conducted in our College for all U.G, P.G. & P.G Diploma Students, interns and staffs in our College on Medical Education Training: - Dr. Mali has successfully completed a Medical Education Training from to at MUHS regional center, Pune. Participation in Rasashastra Bhaishajya Kalpana Seminar: Dr. Kalyani Jadhav, Dr. Yogesh Bhatambre, Dr. Pallavi Bhange, Dr. Pritam Itnar and all P.G. Students of Rasashastra Bhaishajya Department have attended the seminar on Rasashastra Bhaishajya Kalpana organized by B.S.D.T. Ayurved Mahavidyalaya, Wagholi, Pune on 26 & Academic Visit of 2 nd Year B.A.M.S. Student & Staff: - An academic visit was arranged for 2 nd Year B.A.M.S. Students along with teachers of College from to to Pondechary, Kodaikanal, Mahabalipuram, Kanyakumari and various Pharmacies. This was an academic visit to educate the students regarding various herbal plants and the process being adopted by their pharmacies to prepare the medicines. Academic Visit of Rasashastra Bhaishajya Kalpana: - An academic visit to Patanjali Pharmacy, Haridwar was organized by Dpt. Of Rasashastra Bhaishajya Kalpana for 2 nd BAMS students on to observe the process of preparation of various ayurvedic medicines. 4 Participation in advanced certificate course in Health Sciences Education Technology:- Dr. Mali Sandip Matu of our College has been awarded a certificate for having completed the Advanced certificate course in Health Sciences Education Technology by MUHS, Nashik. He has successfully carried out an educational innovation project titled use of video recording as an effective audio visual aid in improving understanding of the surgical procedure of Ksharsutra treatment in Bhagandar (Fistula in Ano) for IVth Year B.A.M.S. students as a part of course from January 2016 to June Participation in workshop on Revision of syllabus of UG & PG organized by Central Council of Indian Medicine: - The following teachers of our college have participated in workshop held by Central Council of Indian Medicine on revision of syllabus of UG & PG being held at Post Graduate Training Institute, Jamnagar (Gujrat) from to This workshop was for the purpose of revision of the UG and PG syllabus of Ayurveda courses, for which near about 400 subject experts from the various states of India were available :- 1. 6 Best Sport Student: Faculty of Ayurved - Rohit N. Gujrati, a student of our College has been awarded with best sport student Faculty of Ayurved by Maharashtra University of Health Sciences, Nashik. He was felicitated by the university by awarding a Certificate and a memento on Sneha Samhelan Zest 2016 :- Various type of cultural event on the occasion of Students Sneha samhelan Zest 2016 is conducted by our College on at Mahatma Phule Sabhagriha, Pune. Free Operative Hernia Camp: - Our College Shalya Tantra department has conducted a free operative Hernia Camp in Ayurved Hospital Sane Guruji Arogya Kendra, Hadapsar, Pune from to Total 37 patients have attended the camp, amongst which 16 cases were operated in our Hospital. Award of Dr. S.T. Gujar Smriti Puraskar :- A ceremony of Dr. S.T. Gujar Smriti Puraskar was organized in Mahatma Phule Sanskritik Bhawan, Pune on , during which many students of our College were honoured with awards / prizes for their best performance in the academic, sports and cultural activities. PAVAK 2016 a National Seminar on Digestion and Metabolism in Ayurveda: - PAVAK 2016 a National Seminar on Digestion and Metabolism in Ayurveda was organized on & successfully conducted by our College. There were 17 papers received from all over India and read accordingly during the seminar. The seminar was attended by many participants all over India including our College staff and Post Graduate students. Award ceremony of students for better performance in academic & sports activities: - An award ceremony was organized in our college on during which the awards to our Post Graduate & Under Graduate students were conferred by the auspicious hands of Dr. Avinash Lele for their better performance in the academic & sports activities during the academic year N.S.S. Winter Training Camp 2015:- A Winter training camp of N.S.S. for our Students was conducted by our College from to at village Vadaki, Haveli, Pune.
