Admission HoD (Mech) Informed that the department faculty meetings are conducted frequently regarding admission and each and every faculty member is advised to utilize social media network towards admission. 2. Resolution No.1 Submission of project proposal. Faculty members were motivated for submitting project proposals and two proposals have been submitted. B. Agenda for the present meeting: 1. Dean i/c (Academic) External Question paper setting and valuation are to be implemented for batch students from II semester onwards. For the batches , , the external question paper setting and valuation shall be implemented from next academic year onwards. The course teacher should collect the feedback from alumni, stake holder, and industry for framing the syllabus for III to VIII semester in OBE pattern. The BOS shall be conducted only after obtaining with proper approval from ProVC. Starting up of B.Voc (Bachelor of Vocational) Course in the Next Academic year. 2. Dean of Schools Copies of monthly performance appraisal report of the schools are appended for review. (Annexure A). 3. Dean / SET 1. Open House 2016 Brochures and notices have been circulated to schools, colleges and polytechnics. So far 200 numbers of in house project exhibits have been registered. 2. The existing staff attendance register maintained in the Departments may additionally be added with in time and out time of the faculty members along with their initials.

2 4. Dean / Research 1. Each and every department has to submit atleast one project proposal, every year. 2. Each and every faculty to publish atleast one paper per year in any one of the reputed indexed journals. 3. Final year students projects to be standardized by focusing towards converting the projects into papers/patents. 4. Research office to be live by providing efacilities such as browsing of ejournals even after normal working hours, online updation of research data etc. For that we need 10 computers, tables etc. with the support of computer group. 5. The valuable support of Brain group is needed to follow the paperless office concept in research office. 6. Project proposals /Papers / Applications for patents to be submitted through Research Office 7. Supervisors to check the fees dues of Research scholars before forwarding the note order to the concerned HoDs for the conduct of DC meetings etc. 8. 13 ANNEXURE B CENTRE FOR CLIMATE CHANGE ACTIVITIES Nov 15 to Jan 15, The Centre is involving in Solid waste management activities by receiving the solid waste from the Thanjavur Municipal Corporation, Segregating and disposing the biodegradable waste for energy production through Biomethanation process. 2. On , Executive Committee meeting was conducted for clean Thanjavur Movement at CEAAT, Pillayarpatti, and Thanjavur. The Executive committee decided to take participate and render service for 40 lakh saplings in Thanjavur towards Green Environment jointly with the Thanjavur District Collector. 3. Biomethanation plant was visited by IEI Members of Trichy and Thanjavur chapter Local centre on Renewable energy gadgets were visited by 30 students and 4 faculty members from Annai college of Arts and Science, Kumbakonam on Mass Pledge on Open Defecation Free Thanjavur district have taken by our students and staffs in three different venue in university premises on Renewable energy gadgets were visited by 10 Employees from Velmurugan Industry, on Our university is identified as one of the location out of 25 places for installing Ambient Air Quality Monitoring Stations (CAAQMS) of cost Rs. 2 Crores, to monitor the air quality in Thanjavur district jointly with TNPCB Thanjavur. 8. Honorable Vice Chancellor and Dr.S.Senthamil Kumar have delivered a guest lecture on Awareness on Solid Waste Management held at Tamilnadu Pollution Control Board, Thanjavur on More than 25 numbers of Industry people participated in this awareness programme. 9. Honorable Vice Chancellor and Dr.S.Senthamil Kumar have delivered a guest lecture on Awareness on Solid Waste Management held at Tamilnadu Pollution Control Board, Thanjavur on More than 60 numbers of Doctors participated in this awareness programme. 10.
