1 STAFF SELECTION COMMISSION Recruitment to the post of Multi Tasking (Non-Technical) Staff in Different States and Union Territories, 2014 Candidates selected for appointment. *********** Staff Selection Commission conducted Examination for recruitment to the post of Multi Tasking (Non-Technical Staff) in different States and Union Territories Examination, 2014 on & at different centers in Karnataka Kerala Region. 2. Based on the performance in Paper-I candidates were called for appearing in Paper-II examination held on As per the notice of the examination, Paper-II is of qualifying nature. Note 2: As per Notice of Examination, candidates intending to apply for the post in more than one State/UT had to submit separate applications for each State/UT to the Regional Office having jurisdiction over such State/UT. Therefore, only candidates who had applied to the concerned Regional Office having jurisdiction over the concerned State/UT were considered Note 3: Paper-II is qualifying in nature only. 6. RESOLUTION OF TIE CASES In cases where more than one candidate secure the equal aggregate marks, tie will be resolved by applying the following methods one after another :- (1) By referring to the marks in Part-III of the objective type paper. (2) By referring to marks in Part-II of the objective type paper. (3) Date of birth i.e. the candidate older in age gets preference. (4) By referring to the alphabetical order of the names taking first name into consideration. 7. For candidates belonging to reserved categories for whom certain percentage of vacancies are reserved as policy of the Govt., the category status is indicated against their Roll No. It is important to note that some of them have been declared qualified only in the category mentioned against their Roll Nos. If any candidate does not actually belong to the category mentioned against him/her name, he/she may not be eligible to be included in the list. 8. The candidates whose Roll Nos. figure in the list are subject to their fulfilling all the eligibility conditions/requirements as prescribed for the post in the Notice of Examination.

As the document verification of the candidates has already been completed, dossiers of the selected candidate may be sent to the indenting departments immediately. 3. There are some candidates whose candidature has been kept as Provisional by concerned Regional Offices but they are also included in the Select List. Concerned RD/DDs will be required to check the eligibility of such candidates thoroughly before sending their dossiers to the indenting Department. 4.
