1 Civil Services Prelims Exam Coaching by LAKSH Career Academy at GNLU Campus LAKSH Career Academy will conduct Civil Services Prelims Exam coaching for facilitating civil services aspirants. The medium of instruction for this coaching will be English. The duration of coaching will be around 400 hours. This general lecture distribution may be modified keeping the best interest of the students in mind as per the academic requirements. It will include in depth analytical preparations of these subjects keeping the requirement and current trends of UPSC in mind. It will not include books and material. These four hundred hours will cover a wide range of Civil Services Prelims Syllabus as reflected in the following table. Eligibility Criteria GNLU Participants 2 nd to 5 th Year and Alumni External Participants Completed 1 st year of graduation from any govt. recognised university. Maximum Age Number Intake Candidate shall not have completed 31 years of age as on 1 August Participants (30 GNLU + 30 External) In case any seat remains vacant, in either category (GNLU/External), then the same will be allotted to the most eligible applicants, irrespective of their category. Besides, LAKSH management reserves the right to increase or decrease the seats considering quality and suitability of candidates, availability of infrastructure and other general parameters. Enrollment Process 1. The interested civil services aspirants who are fulfilling the eligibility criteria should submit the online application form. It will be reimbursed in the course fees, when LAKSH management is allotting seat to the most eligible applicants in UPSC exams. It means that once the course commences the participant shall only pay the rest of the fee (i.e Rs. 18,166/-). If admission is not confirmed by LAKSH management then registration fees will be refunded. But the registration fee will not be refunded to the participants who fail to pay the remaining fees within 3 days of receiving confirmation of admission from LAKSH.

4 Registration fee will be considered lapsed and LAKSH management reserves the right to give admission to other deserving candidate. Applications received after the deadline, incomplete applications or applications without registration fees shall be rejected. 4. If more number of qualified candidates are applying then the number of available seats, LAKSH management holds discretion in giving the admission. Generally admission will be given based on seniority & eligibility for the civil services exams. GNLU candidates and alumni will be given priority in the process. 5. Tuition fees Rs. 19,166/- Security deposit (only for External Participants) Rs 2,000/- Duration of coaching 400 Hrs up to June Important Instructions 1. Participants must pay the fee and security deposit in the form of Demand Draft/Cheque/NEFT/IMPS. Demand Draft/Cheque shall be issued in favour of LAKSH Career Academy payable at Ahmedabad. In case of IMPS or NEFT the payment shall be transferred in the abovementioned bank account. 2. Coaching fee includes tuition fee and fee for regular test series. 3. Coaching fee once paid, shall not be refunded/returned in any case including the discontinuing of the course by the participants. 4. Documents will be verified as mentioned in the application form. If any candidate fills wrong information LAKSH management reserves the right to cancel the application. Fees will not be refunded in any such cases. 5. Participants must adhere to the student s code of conduct mentioned in GNLU regulations. Security deposit will be refunded to external participants after the completion of this coaching only if the participant has followed the student s code of conduct during the entire period of the programme. Any violation of the code of conduct will result in termination of admission. In case of termination of admission fees and security deposit will not be refunded. 6. Accommodation is not available to the participants. Participants can manage accommodation on their own if they require.

6 7. Participants of this coaching program will be considered as event participants/visitors of GNLU. They will be allowed to visit GNLU only during the coaching days. 8. Participants will be allowed to use library facility only during the coaching day, where they can read books and access periodicals but they are not eligible to get the books on the issue.
