1 UGC NET Result 2018 (Cutoff, Answer Key, and Merit List). On behalf of University Grants Commission (UGC), Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) conducts National Eligibility Test (NET). UGC NET is conducted twice a year in order to select candidates for only Assistant Professor or both Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) and Assistant Professor in Indian universities and colleges. As per media reports, from 2018 onwards UGC NET will be conducted once a year. It may be noted that candidates qualifying for Assistant Professor post will not be considered for award of JRF. Candidates appearing in NET should clearly specify in the application form whether they are applying for both JRF and eligibility for Assistant Professor or only for eligibility for Assistant Professor, informs the official website. CBSE UGC NET exam pattern till 2017 was such that it was conducted in three sessions wherein candidates had to appear for three different papers. However, from 2018 UGC NET exam pattern is changed. Going forward, candidates have to appear for two papers only. JRF and Assistant Professor/ Assistant Professor positions will be given to candidates basis their performance in two papers. However, it may be noted that only 6% of the candidates clearing UGC NET exam is declared eligible for the post of Assistant Professor. Also, the reservation policy for SC, ST, OBC, and PwD candidates is applied to this 6%. UGC NET 2018: Important Dates UGC NET 2018 exam dates are out. The exam for JRF and Assistant Professor is scheduled to be conducted in July CBSE NET is scheduled to be conducted in 84 subjects at 91 selected UGC NET exam centers across India. 2 UGC NET Result 2018 The CBSE will declare the UGC NET result 2018 through the online mode. The examination will be conducted on 8th July The result will be announced in the month of July Candidates can check their results by entering their roll number and date of birth on the website login page. Candidates can access it from the online mode. No candidates will be informed individually about the releasing of their result. The marks of all the candidates will be uploaded on the website after declaration of result. How to Check UGC NET Result 2018 Go to the official website link. CBSE officially releases the Answer Key separately for Paper I, II, and III. The captured images of the OMR sheets of the candidates who appeared in the Exam and the answer key for all the papers will be released. CBSE UGC NET - Answer Key - Grievance Redressal Candidates can check through the captured image and the answer key and if grievances/challenges can be addressed to CBSE with valid proof and filling the application form for presenting the challenge.
