Dear Sir/Madam, I wish to extend our hearty welcome to all the participating Universities to the Central Zone Inter University Basketball (M&W),Badminton (M&W), Tennis(M) & Volleyball(W)Tournament for the session The detail information is attached, which may please be brought to the notice of the Managers/Coaches accompanying the team. 1. KIIT University is in the heart of the capital city Bhubaneswar. The city of temples Bhubaneswar is well connected with Train & Bus services from all parts of India. Bhubaneswar Railway Station is about 13 kms far from our University campus. The University may provide transportation from railway station to KIIT University campus, if detail information regarding arrival at Bhubaneswar will be provided to us well in time. For your convenience a reception booth will be established at Railway Station from where the Reception committee will look after your transportation. 2. The Team will be provided accommodation at the hostels in the University campus. The teams are requested to bring their own warm clothes and locks. The accommodation will be provided one day before the start of the tournament. 3. The team Managers are requested to submit quadruplicate (04) copies of Eligibility proforma of the players to the undersigned in the Manager s Meeting. 4. The Organizing committee reserves all the right to change the venue and the date of matches, if necessary. The decision of the committee shall be final & binding. 5. All matches will be played under Basketball, Badminton, Tennis & Volleyball Associations of India rules as adopted by A.I.U. All players are required to bring their Identity cards of the current session, duly signed by the Competent Authority. Umpiring /Officiating charges shall be as per AIU guidelines. 6. The Manager of each team will have to deposit a sum of Rs 1000/- with the cashier of the department as a security, towards accommodation facility & will fully responsible for their players to

2 maintain discipline at the University campus. The amount will be returned, when the team will leave the KIIT Campus. 7. In case of misbehavior of any kind, KIIT authorities reserves the right to take any punitive action, even to the extend of confiscating the security deposit, cancelling the participation of the concerned University, escorting them off the campus and sending a report of the misconduct to the Head of the concerned University, copy to AIU. 8. A meeting of all the manager and coaches of the team will be held on at 5.00pm at the Indoor Stadium of the University, Kathajodi Campus. 9. Participating teams will bring their University Flags. All the teams will have to participate in the March Past at the time of opening ceremony on 7 th October Kindly ensure that your University has paid the Annual Subscription fees for the year The Fixture of all the above tournaments are attached. The date & time table of the matches will be intimated during the Manager s Meeting on 6 th of Oct 2013 at 5pm.The date & time of league matches will be announced after the completion of Knock-out Matches.
