1 ADVERTISMENT FOR THE POST OF DIRECTOR, IIM KASHIPUR Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Kashipur was established in 2011 by the Government of India as an autonomous management institution. The Institute is functioning at its permanent campus at Kundeshwari, Kashipur, District Udham Singh Nagar, Uttarakhand ( The institute has emerged as one of the leading management schools of India and ranked at 20th position in the recent NIRF ranking conducted in Institute believes in imparting transformational learning experience and preparing the students to create a better world. IIM Kashipur mission is to establish itself as a leader in the management education and research in the country. IIM Kashipur seeks to appoint a Director to lead the Institute in pursuit of excellence under the guidance of a highly distinguished Board of Governors. The applicants with an eminence in the management education are invited to apply for the post. The applicant should have an experience of institution building and should be passionate about building a premier educational institution of global standards that reflects the talent, energy and potential of an emergent India. The applicant should have at least 15 years of teaching/research/industry experience. She/he should have been a full Professor at a reputed Institution for at least 7 years and have at least 5 years of experience in the administrative capacity. The applicant should have outstanding academic credentials including a Ph D Degree from a reputed institution with a First Class degree at Bachelor s and Master s levels. The applicants should have produced extensive research of global standards. The Director shall be appointed by the Board of Governors based on recommendations made by a Search-cum-Selection Committee (SCSC). The SCSC will consider applications fulfilling the above criteria, received in response to this advertisement as well as nominations received from eminent persons in the field of management/management education. The SCSC may also consider names outside the panel of the applications received in response to this advertisement. An outside agency may also be hired for soliciting more applications/nominations. Selected candidates shall have a contractual tenure of appointment for five years or till attaining the age of superannuation as per rules. The candidate applying for the post should preferably be below 60 years of age as on last date of the advertisement.
