Considered and approved the case of counting of past service rendered by Dr.(Mrs.)Sushma Gandhi, Professor, Department of Communication Management & Technology at Maharshi Dayanand University Rohtak from to for grant of pensionary benefits. Further resolved that pending cases of like nature be expedited. 4. Noted the action taken by the Vice Chancellor exercising his powers under section 11(5) of G.J.U. Act, 1995, in approving the proceedings of the Committee constituted to find out the procedure and modalities for engagement of teachers on Contract Basis/Teaching Associates/Guest Faculty and Superannuated teachers during the session and their payments (annexure-ii pages 15 to 17 of the agenda). 5. D.S. Kajal as Legal Advisor (Part-time) for a period of one year w.e.f on the terms & conditions already settled vide letter No. EN-I/2010/ dated Noted the action taken by the Vice-Chancellor under section 11 (5) of the Guru Jambheshwar University of Science & Technology, Hisar Act, 1995, in anticipation of approval of the Executive Council in allowing extension in deputation period of Sh. R.K. Arora, Deputy Registrar as Registrar, Deenbandhu Chhotu Ram University of Science & Technology, Murthal (Sonipat) for another period of one year w.e.f to on the terms & conditions already settled vide letter No. EN-I/2010/6301 dated (Annexure III page 23 of the agenda).

7 -3-9. Considered and approved the proceedings of the Selection Committee dated (placed on table) regarding promotion of Dr. R.K. Gupta as Professor under Career Advancement Scheme of UGC. 10. Noted the extension of deputation period of Dr. R.S. Jaglan, Senior Scientist (Entomology) as Registrar, Guru Jambheshwar University of Science & Technology, Hisar for another one year i.e. from to as conveyed by the Registrar CCS, Haryana Agricultural University, Hisar vide their Endst. Order No. Admn.F.2/2010/ dated (Annexure IV page 26 of agenda) on usual terms and conditions of deputation as already approved by the Executive Council. 11. Considered and approved to convert a post of Junior Technician Gr-I, sanctioned in the pay band of Rs GP-3200 into that of Accountant in the pay band of Rs with grade pay of Rs. 3200/-. Regarding absorption of Sh. Rohit Kumar as Accountant, the Executive Council authorised the Vice-Chancellor to allow only after receiving the clearance of conversion of the post by the State Govt. 12. Considered and approved the amendment in clause 4(a) Note (iii) of House Allotment Rule for allotment of houses on the University Campus under provision of One Step Lower. Existing Provision of one step lower may be made as under:- If a house in the category to which an employee is entitled is not available he may be allotted a house in the lower category i.e. one step below the one to which he is eligible. For this purpose the date of joining the university shall determine is seniority viz-a-viz others entitled to that category provided this will not debar him subsequently from the allotment of a house to which he is entitled. Proposed Provision of one step lower may be made as under:- If a house in the category to which an employee is entitled is not available he may be allotted a house in the lower category i.e. one step lower to the one to which he is eligible provided the employee has actually worked in the lower pay scale/slab. The date of joining in the university shall determine his seniority viz-a-viz others entitled to that category. But this will not debar him subsequently from the allotment of a house to which he is entitled.

8 Noted the action taken by the Vice-Chancellor, under section 11 (5) of the University Act in anticipation of the approval of the Executive Council, in approving the recommendations regarding 25% concession of total fees of distance learning programmes to GJUS&T students of regular courses, who are interested to simultaneously join a distance learning programme. Further resolved that this facility be also extended to all the regular students studying in other universities/colleges. 14. Noted the action taken by the Vice-Chancellor under section 11 (5) of the Act, in anticipation of approval of the Executive Council, in granting extension to Prof. S.C.Kundu, Haryana School of Business as Chief Warden for a further period of one year w.e.f Considered the appeal of Sh. Mukesh Kumar S/o Sh. Birbal R/o VPO Satrod Khas, Distt. Hisar for appointment as Clerk-cum-Typist (Annexure VI pages of the agenda) and resolved that the request of Sh. Mukesh Kumar be rejected being devoid of merit. 16. Noted the action taken by the Vice-Chancellor in extending the term of Prof.R.L. Bagga, F.I.E. (M.Sc.Hons (Physics)-D.I.I.Sc., M.Sc. Engg. Elect.), Ex-Professor Elect. Engg. of Punjab Engineering College, Chandigarh as Technical Advisor (Acoustical/Elect.) of the University from to on the terms & conditions already settled.

9 Noted the action taken by the Vice-Chancellor in extending the term of Sh.C.B.Sharma (Retd. Superintending Engineer), as Technical Advisor of the University from to on the terms & conditions already settled. 18. Considered and approved that the nomenclature of the post of Lab. Attendant- Cum-Cleaner be changed to Lab. Attendant but the work of lab. Cleaning shall remain as a part of their duty. 19. Considered the revision of remuneration of contractual staff as conveyed by the State Govt. vide Memo No.8034 dated to be applicable w.e.f : Category Name of Posts Remuneration (in Rs.) Remarks/Initial basic pay of comparable posts in revised scale Category-1 Mason, Electrician and Plumber Rs.8800/- P.M. For those having =9840/- qualification of Matric with ITI 7600/- P.M. For others =7580/- Category-2 Category-3 Store Clerk, Lab.Attendant, Tubewell Operator and Fitter Beldar, Mate, Chowkidar, Sewerman, Waiter and Helper Rs.7600/- P.M. Rs.6100/- P.M =7580/ =6050/- Resolved that the letter of the State Govt. be implemented qua 22 workers appointed on contract basis. Regarding 08 DPL, the Vice- Chancellor was authorized to take decision keeping in view of the revision of remuneration of 30 persons in toto as has been considered by the State Govt. vide Memo No dated

S.K.Chakrawarety to the post of Assistant Registrar with effect from against the vacant post of Deputy Director (DE) consequent upon his acquittal by the Learned Court in case titled State Vs.
