ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA: SL.NO POST (SUBJECT) 1 PGT (Economics) 2 TGT (MATHS) 3 TGT (SCIENCE) 4 DOCTOR ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATION FOR POSTS AT SL. No. 1 (A) Two Years Integrated Post Graduate M.Sc. Course of Regional College of Education of NCERT in the concerned subject. OR Master s Degree from a recognized university with at least 50% marks in aggregate in the following subjects. Sl. No. Post (Subject) Subject (s) at Post Graduate level 1 PGT(ECONOMICS) Economics/Applied Economics/ Business Economics (B) B.Ed or equivalent degree from a recognized University. (c) Proficiency in teaching in Hindi and English medium. Desirable Qualification: Knowledge of Computer Applications. ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATION FOR POSTS AT SL. No. 2-4 (A) Four years integrated degree course of Regional College of Education of NCERT in the concerned subject with at least 50% marks in aggregate. OR Bachelor s Degree with atleast 50% marks in the concerned subject/combination of subject and in aggregate. The elective subjects and languages in the combination of subjects are as under: Sl. 3 (B) Pass in the Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) Paper-II, conducted by CBSE in accordance with the Guidelines framed by the NCTE for the purpose. (C) Proficiency in teaching in Hindi and English medium. Desirable Qualification: Knowledge of Computer Applications. IMPORTANT INSTRUCTIONS TO THE CANDIDATES FOR THE POST OF TRAINED GRADUATE TEACHERS (TGTs). The candidate should possess the professional qualification of B.Ed as on the last date of submission of application. For the post of TGT (Maths): 1. The candidate should have studied Maths in all the years of graduation with any two subjects out of Physics, Chemistry, Electronics, Computer Science, Statistics. 2. In case of Honours Degree in Maths, the candidate should have studied Maths in all the years of graduation with atleast 50% marks in aggregate and any of the two subjects indicated in point No.1 above with atleast 50% marks in each subject at graduation, level and also atleast 50% marks in graduation. 3. BA (Hons.) in Maths and B.Sc (Hons) in any subject other than Maths are not eligible for the post of TGT (Maths). For the post of TGT (Science): 1. The candidate should have studied Botany, Zoology and Chemistry in all the years of graduation with atleast 50% marks in each subject. 2. The candidates with Honours Degree in Botany/Zoology/Chemistry with atleast 50% marks in B.Sc should have studied other two subjects with atleast 50% marks in each of them at graduation level. 4 HOW TO APPLY & IMPORTANT INSTRUCTIONS FOR THE CANDIDATES: Eligible and interested candidates would be required to apply in the prescribed format only available with this advertisement.(next Page) If one Candidate is applying for multiple posts then he/she has to fill different form for each post. Application for multiple posts on one form will be cancelled. No other means/mode of application will be accepted. Before applying, the candidates should ensure that they fulfill all the eligibility norms. Their registration will be provisional as their eligibility will be verified only at the time of Interview. Mere issue of Interview call letter or allowed to write the written examination will not imply acceptance of candidature of the applicants. Candidature of a registered candidate is liable to be rejected at any stage of recruitment process. Even after joining, if any information provided by the candidate is found to be false or not in conformity with the eligibility criteria at any stage, the appointment shall be cancelled and further necessary action may be taken by KVS as deemed proper. She/he would be engaged till such time the regular teacher joins or the end of the academic session, whichever is earlier. Relaxation in CTET-In the absence of CTET qualified candidates, candidates without CTET qualification may be considered, if otherwise eligible as per KVS recruitment Rules. Canvassing in any form will disqualify the candidature of the applicant. Teachers engaged on contractual basis, would have no claim or right for appointment on regular basis nor will they be a part of the cadre of teachers of Kendriya Vidyalayas.
