1 Two-Year Course Cycle Department of Theatre & Dance Course offerings as of January 23, 2019 Department of Theatre & Dance Academic Advising Course Catalog Class Schedule This two-year course cycle is intended to assist students in planning their academic program. It also allows the department to anticipate staffing needs. It is subject to change without notice. This is not a contract or guarantee that any specific course will be offered precisely as listed. All course offerings depend on such things as the university budget, instructor availability, and enrollment. Should a substitute course be deemed necessary, a reasonable effort will be made to ensure the new course will continue to fulfill the same major requirement or general education element as the original course. This course cycle does not anticipate possible scheduling conflicts that may arise. Students are expected to meet up with their advisor at least once per semester when planning their pathway to success at PLU, and this course cycle is not a substitute for that expectation. The Class Schedule on Banner Web (banweb.plu.edu) provides the most up-to-date course information Academic Year Fall J-Term Course Course Title Sections Sections THEA 160 Intro to Theatre AR X X Spring Sections THEA 190 FYEP SEMINAR FYEP THEA 200 Theatre Rehearsal and Performance X X THEA 215 Voice and Movement AR X THEA 225 Theatre Practicum X X THEA 250 Acting I: Fundamentals AR X THEA 252 Fundamentals of Scenic Design AR THEA 254 Fundamentals of Lighting Design AR THEA 255 Theatrical Production AR X THEA 260 Stagecraft THEA 275 Scenic Painting X THEA 279 Hand Drafting X THEA 280 Computer-Aided Drafting X X Multi-Disciplinary Program Related Comments
