DELI-I STREAM WISE ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA REGAllDlNG REGISTRATION FOR ENTRANCE/SCREENING TEST OF NON RPVV STUDENTS (FROM DELHI COVERNMENT I GOVERNEMNT-AII)EO / NOMe I CANTONMENT BOARD SCHOOLS SITUATED IN GNCT OF DELHI) SEEKING ADMISSION IN RPVVs TO CLASS-XI ~OR SESSION _ Students,who have passed Class- IX in the year 2015 and Class- X in the year 2016 from Delhi Govemhlent /Govemment AidedlNDMC/Delhi Cantonment Board Schools situated in GNCT of Delhi are eligible for registration lor Entrance/Screening Test seeking admission to Class-XI in RPVVs. STREAM-WISE ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA FOR REGISTRATION Registration will be opened in anv RPVV lor external candidates onlv if there are seals available after admitting all the eligible students of its own RPVV strictly as per the Merit/criteria fixed by the Directorate or Education.

2 There will be a common Merit/Draw for HINDI/ENGLISH medium sections and no request for change of medium of instruction will be entertained at any stage. A. ELiGIBILTY CRITERIA FOR REGISTRATION AND ENTRANCE I SCREENING TEST FOR SCIENCE STREAM Minimum Grades {without entrance/screening test. 3 If more than one student is eligible for admission in Commerce Stream for the last vacant seat then the selection will be made for the last vacant seat as per the below mention criteriu.. Eligible students with higher grades in Mathematics. Social Science and English will get higher ranking in the Merit List and admission will be offered strictly on the basis of Merit thus formed. For example. a student with A 1 grade each in Mathematics. Social Science and English will get highest ranking in the Merit List. In case oftie ill spite of the above exercise. the draw will be arranged. C. ELIGIBILTY CRITERIA FOR REGISTRATION FOR ENTRANCEI SCREENING TEST FOR ARTS STREAM Minimum Crudes {without (*) asterisk Mark} required for registration for entrance/screening test. C 1 GRADE (W ITI-IOUT (*) ASTER ISK) in each of the five subjects (Excluding additional subject). In addition to the above eligibility criteria, Economics and Mathematics subjects in Humanities Stream will be offered on the following conditions: - Economics Subject will be offered to only those students who have secured at least 6 CGPA in his/her Class-X Exam. Mathematics Subject will be offered to only those students who have secured at least C-I Grade (Without (*) ASTERISK) in Mathematics in his/her Class-X Exam. Following Cr-iteria will be observed for selection and admission: - Selection of candidate lor admission to Ctass-XI ill RPVVs to be done on the merit of candidate ill the Entrance/Screening Test where he/she was registered. If more than one student is eligible for admission in Humanities Stream for the last vacant seat then the admission will be made as per following merit criteria> Eligible students with higher grudes m all five subjects (Excluding Additional Subject) will get higher ranking in the Merit and admission will be offered strictly on the basis or Merit. For example. a student with A I grade each in <111the Five Subjects (Excluding Additional Subject) will get highest ranking in the Merit. (Grades should be without (*) Asterisk Mark). In case of tie draw will be arranged.

4 ENTRANCE/SCREENING TEST All registered candidates will have to appear ill an Entrance/Screening test that will be held 011the same dale/time for all the RPVVs and the selection will be done on the merit in the Entrance/Screening Test of respective RPVVs. where the applicant was registered and appeared in Entrance/Screening Test. Entrance test will consist of objective rype questions to test numerical ability, mental ability, general knowledge and langungc comprehension. In addition to above there will be descriptive test for Hindi & English language. (English for all the three streams (i.e. Science / Commerce / Arts) whereas Hindi for Arts Stream in addition to English Language).
