4 Information (NRI/FN) :- Definition NRI/FN Foreign Students: Student holding passport issued by foreign Countries including people of Indian origin (PIO) who have acquired the nationality of foreign countries are included as foreign students. Non Resident Indian (NRI): Only the NRI students who have studied and passed the qualifying examination from schools or colleges in foreign countries will be included as International Students. This will include the student studying in the schools or colleges situated in foreign countries even if affiliated to the Boards of Secondary Education OR universities located in India. It will not include student studying in those schools or colleges (situated in India) and affiliated to the Boards of Secondary Education or universities located in foreign countries. Students passing the qualifying examinations from Boards or Universities located in Foreign Countries as external students and dependants of NRI studying in India will not be included as International Students. Once a student is given the status of an International Student, his status will be maintained throughout their education in KIMSDU.

5 Eligibility For NRI/FN/PIO Category Students having qualification recognized as equivalent by the Association Of Indian Universities (AIU) only are eligible for admission. 1. A candidate shall have completed 17 years of age on or before 31 st December. 2. Candidates seeking admission to Medical program must have studied the subjects of Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English in Grades 11 & Under this category only the students who have studied and passed the qualifying examination from a school located in foreign country shall be considered. This will include the students studying in school/and or college situated in foreign country, even if the concerned school/college is affiliated to any Board of secondary education or a University in India. However, wards of NRI/FN/PIO, who is studying for the qualifying examination in school/college located in India are excluded. 4. In case of any school that follows the American system of education, the candidate must have studies Physics, Chemistry and Biology at AP (Advanced Placement) level and must have minimum C grade in these subjects. 5. The candidate shall get equivalence certificate from the Association Of Indian University (AIU), New Delhi. 6. Qualification in AIPMT2016/NEET-I or NEET - II Warning :

7 List of Documents For NRI/FN/PIO Category : (Required While Reporting for Counseling) - At the time of counseling, you are required to produce the following documents in original, failure to do so will result in instantaneous cancellation of your claim for admission. You are also required to submit two photocopies of each of these documents. 1. Mark/Grade Statement of the qualifying examination. 2. Transfer/School leaving Certificate from the Institute last attended. 3. Nationality/Certificate copy of Candidate in case of NRI/FN. 4. A Photocopy of their passport-duly attested by a notary. 5. Physical fitness certificate from a registered Physician. 6. Certificate from the owner/head of the Institute starting the length of service & Total emoluments if guardian is in service in foreign country. 7. Income certificate from competent authority, in case the guardian is self employed. 8. School Accreditation Certificate 9. Proficiency test in English. This is only applicable, if the qualifying examination is not in the English medium. 10. AIU Equivalence Certificate. 11. NEET UG 2016 Exam Admit Card and Result VISA - Provisional admission letter required to obtain Visa. Scanned copies of Applicant s Photo and Signature Note : All uploaded documents should meet the criteria as mentioned below : For uploading photo the following procedure shall be adopted : 1. Recent colored Photograph with light background (Same as NEET Admit Card) 2. The same photo should be used for all the subsequent processes such as Counseling and admission. 3. The photograph should have a full face view looking into the camera directly. The main features of the face must not be covered by hair of the head, any cloth or any shadow. Forehead, Eyes, Nose and Chin should be clearly visible. 4. The photograph should be in JPGE/JPG image format. 5. The Scan image should be less than 80 kb and should be of 30mm x 45 mm dimension. For uploading signature the following procedure shall be adhered to: 1. Signature should be made with black pen on white paper by the candidate for uploading. 2. Dimensions should be 35 x 80 mm and Maximum file size should be 80 kb. 3. The image should be JPG/JPGE format. 9 DISQUALIFICATION FROM ADMISSION PROCESS : Any candidate himself or his authorized proxy if found obstructing the admission process or trying to influence in any manner or creating nuisance the candidate shall be liable for disqualification from the admission process. The decision taken by the University shall be final and binding. CONDUCT AND DISCIPLINE : 1. The student while studying in the Health Science Courses, if found indulging in antinational activities, unlawful activities or ragging in any form, contrary to the provisions of Acts and Law enforced by University, will be liable to the expelled from the University. 2. Detection of failure of the candidate in making full and correct statements in the application form and/or suppression of any information is liable for disqualification of the candidate, even at later date. Such a candidate will be debarred form the entire selection process and pursuing the course of studies. 3. It is the responsibility of every candidate to submit proper documents. Any candidate found to indulge in malpractice including impersonation, cheating, filing false documents. etc. is liable for cancellation of admission, forfeiture of the fees and deposits. 4 All candidates selected for admission shall be subject to the disciplinary rules of the University. The candidates have to give an undertaking for completion of the course and have to get Eligibility Certificates from the University. Students shall submit the Eligibility form at the time of joining the course. Relevant information is to be filled in the Eligibility form and necessary documents as mentioned in the form along with Xerox copies shall be attached. Original documents will be duly returned to the candidate after completion of the admission procedure. DISPUTES : In the event of any dispute as to interpretation and implementation of any of the clauses in this instruction sheet the Competent Authority, KIMS Deemed University shall be final authority & the same will be binding on all concerned. COURT JURISDICTION : Any legal dispute will be subject to jurisdiction of Competent Court in Karad, District - Satara and the Hon'ble High Court of Judicature at Mumbai as the case may be, with advance legal notice of one month to KIMSDU. RAGGING : Ragging within or outside the Educational Institutions is strictly prohibited. Ragging is a criminal offence under the Maharashtra Anti ragging Act. To ensure strict compliance of the orders of the Hon'ble Supreme Court of India, for implementing the recommendations of the Raghvan Committee's report, on Prevention of Ragging in Educational Institute, the KIMSDU has framed rules and regulations. Students involved in ragging will be subjected to disciplinary action. Ragging in any form is a punishable offence. Committing this act of indiscipline, the concerned student shall be given liberty to explain and if his explanation is not found satisfactory, the authority would expel such students from the Institution. In such events the rusticated student is liable to pay the total course fees. Warning :
