1 Notification for Written Test for Selection 01 post of Library Assistant (Grade III),, Memo No. AC/Int/G-III/2017/1113 Date: This is for general information of all candidates who have applied for the post of Library Assistant (Grade III) as per advertisement of published in the daily Assamese ASOMIYA PRATIDIN dated 03/06/2017, that the written test for selection of candidate against 01 post for Library Assistant (Grade III) lying vacant at college will be held on 27 August, 2017 at 11 am in the college premises. The time allotted for the written test will be 1 hour and 30 minutes. The list of candidates along with their Roll Nos. is attached herewith. The Candidates will have to produce their own ID proof and report in the examination hall at least half an hour before the commencement of written test. No TA/DA will be borne by the college. This written Test shall be a screening test from which 20 candidates will be selected to appear in the Type Test against the post. Separate call letters will be sent to the selected candidates for Type test. The syllabi for the Written Test will be of Degree level (except for Arithmetic which shall be of class X standard) which will consist of General English, General Knowledge, Letter drafting (English & Assamese), Simple Arithmetic and Knowledge and duties assigned to Lower Div. Assistant. The written test for selection of candidates and the interview of typing will be held as per DHE s guidelines issued vide No. DHE/CE/Misc/341/2016/49, dated and DHE/CE/Misc/341/2016/12 dated The total marks for selection of Grade-III post shall be 100, as detailed below:- 1 Total marks in written test, only one paper, of one and half hrs. duration: 60 marks 2 Marks in Computer test, English and Assamese typing (10 marks each): 20 marks 3 Academics a. HSLC(1 st Division- 5 / 2 nd Division -4 / 3 rd division 3) maximum: 5 marks st nd rd b. HSSLC (1 st Division -5 / 2 nd Division -4 / 3 rd division -3) maximum: 5 marks c.
