1 Government of Jammu and Kashmir Services Selection Board Sehkari Bhawan, Rail Head Complex, Jammu ( NOTICE Subject:- Provision shortlists for the posts of Urdu Teachers (School Department), Advertised vide Notification No.06/07 (Various District Cadres), for counselling and document. Whereas, vide No.SSB/Secy/Sel/08/ dated , the J&K Services Selection Board notified provision shortlists for the posts of Urdu Teachers (School Department), Advertised vide Notification No.06/07 (Various District Cadres). Whereas, among others, candidates were shortlisted on the basis of data furnished by the applicants in their online applications for the posts earmarked for Physicly Handicapped Category, however, the candidates with locomotory handicap category have not been shortlisted under the said category in few districts though the post is so identified for that category. Whereas, it has so been observed that in terms of rules, where the num of posts is less than, the candidates with superior merit in l the eligible subcategories of Physicly Handicapped Category are required to be considered for selections in the Physicly Handicapped Category on the basis of merit which fact has now so been clarified by the Soci Welfare Department, after the matter was taken up with it. Whereas, further, candidates were shortlisted, on the basis of data furnished by the applicants in their online applications, for the posts earmarked for Ex-Servicemen Category so. Whereas, during counselling-cum-document process of the candidates shortlisted in ESM category, it has been observed that the candidates had not filled up their data properly, as a result of which ineligible candidates have figured in the shortlist of the ESM category in some districts and their ineligibility has been established during document process. Whereas, the matter was considered by the Board, in its extraordinary meeting held on rd of January, 09 and it was decided to ign the shortlist of the ESM category strictly as per rules applicable, for which left out candidates, who have applied as ESM category candidates and who are limited in num, may be cled for counselling and document to ascertain, their eligibility

2 under ESM Category, so that selections do not run into litigations. It so decided to cl for Counselling-cum-Document Verification, the eligible candidates in the desired Physicly Handicapped subcategory in the required district. Now, therefore, candidates figuring in the annexure A are hereby cled for Counselling-cum-Document Verification 0.0 am on the dates and venue indicated against each in the annexure for according them consideration against the posts earmarked for ESM category/physicly Handicapped Category in indicated districts for the posts of Urdu Teachers (School Department), Advertised vide Notification No.06/07 (Various District Cadres). The consideration shl be strictly in accordance with the merit and eligibility and keeping in view the num of posts earmarked for that particular category. As the Board is in the process of finization of these selection lists, no claim shl be accepted/entertained subsequently in respect of candidates who remain absent during this Counselling-cum-Document Verification process.
