This list is being placed on the Notice Boards of the Institute at Mesra (Main Campus), its concerned Extension Centres, and on the Institute website. All provisionally selected candidates are required to report in person and take admission at the centre mentioned against their names, during working hours on any working day by 20 th May 2016, failing which their admission offer will liable to be cancelled. Details of vacant seats existing after 20 th May 2016, if any, will be notified on the Institute website on or before 23 rd May 2016, along with necessary details. At the time of admission, selected candidates would be required to submit the originals of the following documents and certificates in original. 1. Pass Certificate and Marksheet of Class Marksheet of Class 12 / Intermediate or equivalent 3. Marksheets of Graduation for graduates OR Marksheets upto pre-final year for candidates graduating in They must also bring a certificate in original from the Principal of Institute stating that: a. by 30 th June 2016, (s)/he will have appeared for examination in all subjects required for obtaining his/her Bachelor s degree. b. (S)/he has obtained 50% (45% for SC/ST/PwD) marks or equivalent, based on latest available grades / marks. c. Undertaking Please see below* 4. Candidates with qualifications acquired through correspondence or distancelearning programmes must carry proof of pass certificate, marksheets of qualifying examination and approval of DEC (Distance Education Council). 5. Printout of Admit Card / Hall Ticket of CAT 2015 / XAT 2016 / CMAT 2016/ MAT Sept or MAT Dec-2015 or MAT Feb-2016 [as received by ] 6. 2 Contd from page 1 MBA Ref/Adm/MBA Results2016 / /MBA-Results -1 Date: 11 May 2016 Provisional Selection list for MBA Programme 2016 at BIT Mesra (Main Campus), BIT Lalpur and BIT Noida Centres *Provisionally selected candidates who are appearing for their final examinations in 2016 will be required to submit an undertaking at the time of admission on Non-Judicial Stamp Paper of Rs. 20/-, countersigned by their guardian, to the effect that if they fail to obtain requisite marks in Honours / aggregate in graduation their admission will be cancelled. The deadline for submission of mark-sheet / degree certificate is 31 October 2016, failing which the provisional admission will be automatically cancelled. (Please see Sec-10 in MBA Information Brochure 2016 (pdf) on website for format of undertaking). Total fees payable at the time of admission: Provisionally selected candidates will be required to deposit an amount of Rs.1,40,500/- for admission to MBA programme at Mesra, and Rs.1,27,000/- for admission to MBA programme at BIT Extension Centres, Lalpur and Noida. All payments must be made by crossed demand draft in favour of Birla Institute of Technology, Payable at Ranchi, in case of Mesra or Lalpur Centres Payable at Noida in case of Noida Centre Hostel facilities are provided only at the Main Campus at Mesra. Hostel mess charges at Mesra will be approximately Rs.3,000/- per month. Students at Mesra will be required to deposit Hostel Caution Money* (One Time only - Refundable) of Rs.5,000/-. They will also be required to pay suitable mess advance at the beginning of each semester, which will be adjusted against their mess charges. For the July 2016 session, this mess advance* will be Rs.20,000/-. *Hostel Caution Money (One Time only - Refundable) and Hostel Mess Advance (each semester) are payable by crossed Demand Draft in favour of BIT Hostels Mess Account payable at Ranchi.
