1 SHAHEED BHAGAT SINGH COLLEGE (UNIVERSITY OF DELHI Date: THIRD MERIT LIST OF SELECTED CANDIDATES FOR ADMISSION AGAINST VACANT SEATS (PHASE-I) FOR THE ACADEMIC YEAR Please note the following: IMPORTANT INSTRUCTIONS FOR STUDENTS SEEKING ADMISSION AGAINST VACANT SEATS Please get your eligibility verified from the College before cancelling admission from other college/course, if already taken. For eligibility verification, bring photocopy of the relevant documents as mentioned in Annexure-I Inclusion of your name in the merit list is no guarantee for admission. There is no waiting list for admission The Third Admission Merit List of the College is displayed at as well as at the College notice board If you have got the best of four percentage of marks above or same as of the last candidate in the Third merit list, you may approach the Admission Counter in the College. The best of four percentage as shown in the list is subject to verification of original marks sheet and calculation of best of four percentage of marks based on the original marks sheet. Candidates are required to report in-person for admission alongwith all original certificates and 1 set of photocopy of all the documents. Two recent passport size photographs of the candidate and parent/guardian. Candidates selected in Third admission merit list are required to report for admission on 04 and 05 August, 2016 up to 1:00 p.m. After approval of admission, the candidate has to log on to the DU undergraduate admission portal to make online admission fee payment. This may be done till 12:00 noon of the next day of the given admission list deadline. Page 1 of 7

2 Documents/Certificates Required for Admission (Annexure-I) Candidates seeking admission shall submit the original and self-attested photocopies of the following documents: Class XII Marks-sheet. Class XII Provisional Certificate/ Original Certificate. Character certificate from the school/ college last attended. Class X Marks-sheet cum certificate showing date of birth Transfer Certificate from school/ college as well as Migration Certificate from Board/University is required for those students who have passed senior secondary exam from outside Delhi. In the case of SC/ST candidates, Caste Certificate in the name of candidate along with the certificate either of mother / father / brother / sister. In the case of OBC candidates, Caste Certificate in the name of the candidate shall be submitted along with the Income Certificate as required by the University of Delhi. *Any one of the last three years Return of Income Tax of the father or Form 16 in case of salaried employees *In other cases, self-attested copy of the document(s) submitted to the Competent Authority in respect of non-creamy layer for issue of OBC certificate. 8 9 Proof of permanent residence of the student and parent viz. electricity bill, AADHAR card, election card, receipt of property tax payment.
