4 Department Overview Presently department is performing nicely. All the members are working hard to accomplish the goals of the department in coordination with the goal of school and the university. All the classes are being taken by concerned experienced faculty members. Total 10 faculty members are taking/conducting lectures and practical's in the program s offered by the department itself rest of others are contributing in other departments of the schools. Work in equally distributed among the faculty member according to there competence. All our General Elective course is having a good strength of students from different departments. Coordinators for file and profile management is designated.

5 Department Overview Coordinators for Research, Placement, CBCS, NAAC, ISO and Feedback have been designated. Career Counseling facility is being given by the Department to the students of Psychology. Internship policy have been designed by the department for students of other institute. Time table and lesson plan for the present semester has been prepared in the beginning of the semester and submitted to the Dean of the School. Alumni list is being updated by the department.

6 Courses to be start: BA (Honors) in Psychology from July 2019 PG Diploma in Guidance and Counseling from July 2019 (Outline has prepared. Structure of Syllabus is under process. Need of two class room with capacity of minimum 20 students each course. Workshop on Indigenous Techniques in Counseling : Proposed in 2019

7 Interdisciplinary Courses: 1-Psychology as a paper is already teaching in education. 2-Psychology subject offer in GE. (PG. & UG. Students) National collaboration:

8 CBCS: G.E. Department is running successfully. 20 to 25 seats offer in G.E. [Psychology]

9 Faculty: Sufficient faculty available in this department as per the requirement in current semester. One post of Assistant professor is vacant (12/11) Work load is equally distributed among staff.

19 FUTURE PLANNING: To establish a Centre of Prominence in the field of Indian Psychology. To conduct International Conference on the Indian Psychology and Indigenous Techniques in Psychotherapy. To start Post Graduate diploma course in counselling & guidance and sports psychology

20 Program and Activities (July 17-18) 7 days National Workshop on Indigenous Psychology was held; for the group of 50 student of Amity University, Mumbai Maharashtra. Date: 6-12 june, 2018 Provided information in to 45 yogic science students of Kashi Vidya Peeth, Varanasi, on Biofeedback and other Psychological apparatus and their possible utilization in experiments for different aspects in Yoga and Psychology field. On May 3, Provided information to 55 B.Ed. students of Junagarh, Gujarat on Biofeedback and other Psychological apparatus and their possible utilization in experiments for different aspects in Yoga and Psychology field.. These people also given Career Guidance for Career & life goal and Personality development of children. On May 12, A two days workshop on Counseling on Marital & Relationship Problems. Workshop was conducted on 16 th -17 th March, 2018, by a reputed Psychologist Mr. Sanjay Saxena, Director of Antaschentna, a psychological care center, Gwalior (M.P.).

21 Program and Activities (July 17-18) A three days workshop on Rorschach, TAT & CBT. The workshop was conducted by well reputed Clinical Psychologist Dr. P.K. Khatri, Director - SAMBAL de-addiction center, Lucknow (U.P.) during 07 th -09 th March, 2018,. Total 35 students participated in the workshop. A Six days workshop on Astropsychology. The workshop was conducted by a well known Astro-psychologist Dr. Gaurav Agrawal, Rishikesh (U.K.) during 19 th -24 th March, ** students took part in it. Psychological Testing facility is being given by the department. So far I.Q. Test (draw a person test) of two clients have been done in the department. Department earned a sum of 400/- rupees and deposited in the account office of the university. Tests were done by Dr. Manish Gupta
