He has also been bestowed upon the qualification of Certified Accountant (CMA) by the Institute of Certified Accountants, USA which is a body of the Institute of Accountants of USA. This certification is under renewal process. He possesses a Master degree in Commerce with specialization in Cost and Accounting and is also a Law graduate with his Honours, both from Devi Ahilya Vishva Vidhyalay (University of Indore), Indore, Madhya Pradesh, India. Prof. is a faculty member of the Institute and has been working as Professor in the area of Finance since October, 2007; his core area of teaching and training is Cost and Accounting. Besides, he teaches courses on Taxation including direct and indirect tax laws of the country and a course on Planning and Control. He has worked with various industrial organizations in public sector and private sector in Indian and Multinational Companies including NTC (MP) Ltd., BDH Pharmaceuticals Ltd., Hoechst Marion Roussel, E. Merck, United Phosphorus Ltd. etc. in senior capacities and has handled the functions of Finance, Financial Accounting, Cost & Accounting, Budgeting, Budgetary Control, management advisory functions under complex and strategic requirements of the organizations, management of commercial activities including materials management, logistics management and handling of taxation including VAT, Central Excise and Customs. He has 25 years of industrial experience and has, prior to his joining IRMA, been associated as visiting faculty with various Institutes which include Institute of Studies, Dept. of, Devi Ahilya Vishva Vidhyalay, Indore, ICWA of India and Prestige Institute of, Indore.
