Co-curricular activities: Travelling, Singing, Teaching and Reading J. CONTRIBUTION TO KNOWLEDGE: Agricultural loan from Agricultural Credit Corporation, Oyo State, Nigeria did not make much impact because of political interference in that loans were been diverted to unintended beneficiaries. M.Sc thesis, Ph.D research provided information on the current production and consumption pattern of yam in Nigeria. It also showed the resource and price competitiveness in yam, rice and cassava production and consumption in Nigeria. Similarly, it provided estimates of private and social profitability of yam producing households across agro ecological zones in Nigeria which established value addition for improved competitiveness. In addition, it provided quantitative effects of the present and future agricultural policies on yam, rice and cassava production and consumption across Rainforest, Derived Savannah and Southern Guines Savannah agro ecological zones in Nigeria 5
