During her service career she has successfully completed her tenure as a chairman of the department of Fine Arts twice; O.S.D., A.M.U. Girls High School, Aligarh for two years; Section Incharge, Fine Arts Section, Women s College from 1990 to till date and has also been a member of many important Expert Committees. As a Ph.D. supervisor five of her candidates have been awarded the degree so far. Her book Art ki Kahani published by Tarraqqi Urdu Board, Delhi, received Award from Urdu Akademi, U.P. Her other books

2 are: Hindustani Musawwari and Science ke Raaste Par, Teja Singh translated in Urdu, published by Sahitya Akademi, Delhi. In her professional career Prof. Seema Javed has held seven solo shows of her artworks at Mauritius, Delhi, Lucknow and Aligarh. Her graphic prints were selected for exhibition organized by French Mauritius Friendship association of Paris, Sponsored by the famous Louvre Gallery Paris, held at the Paris de Charlotte, Paris. She has been recognized by State Lalit Kala Akademi as a Contemporary Artist of U.P. She has been regularly participating in various art related events. Her art works are in various private collections in India and abroad.
