1 ANNUAL ART EXHIBITION OF CONTEMPORARY ART Rules & Regulations CATEGORIES : Painting Drawing Graphics Sculpture Photography AWARD : CERTIFICATE OF MERIT : SIZE : ELIGIBILITY : ENTRY FEE : SCHEDULE & SUBMISSION OF EXHIBITS : Award will be given in five categories. Each award consisting of prize money rupees Fifteen Thousand each. Two Certificate of merit will be awarded for each category. The maximum size for painting, graphics and drawing will be 122cm 122cm and 91.44cm 91.44cm for sculpture and photography size 60.91cm 76.2cm. a) The exhibitions are open to all Artists in West Bengal, who have completed the age of 18 as on b) The exhibitions are also open to Artists of West Bengal origin settled in abroad. c) All Fo reign Artist s st aying in West Bengal since are also eligible to participate. Rs. 200/- for each work. Maximum number of two work will be allowed for each applicant. Entry fee (Bank Draft) should be drawn in favour of. The enclosed Schedule must be filled in properly and may be submitted along with the photograps,size 5'' 7'' and C.D. of the Art Work. Entry fee as per date mentioned in the Schedules to the Secretary, West Bengal State Akademi of Dance Drama Music & Visual Arts, 6/4, D. N. Tagore Lane, Kolkata After the primary selection, within 10 days office will intimated to the selected participant to deposit their artwork in original to office on any working day between 12 noon to 5 pm. Exhibits should be properly mounted and fitted with hooks by the depositor for hanging. Sculpture should not be made of fragile material. State Akademi will not take any responsibility in case of damages of frames, Glasses or anything.

2 ACCEPTANCE: SELECTION & JUDGING : SALE : CATALOGUE : RETURN OF WORKS : No exhibits will be accepted for the Exhibition which has already been awarded in any Exhibition of the State or All India Art Exhibition. Object which has been executed before will not be accepted. Artists who have been already awarded by State Akademi are not eligible for State Akademi Award. In the first phase, all entries along with the photograps and its one soft copy will receive for the exhibition. That would be placed before the Selection Committee for Selection. In the second phase, all art works will be displayed before the Judging Committee for selection of award and display. The decision of the Selection Committee will be treated as final. No correspondence whatsoever will be entertained. All sales will be negotiated by the State Akademi and the Akademi will retain 20% on all sales. The balance of 80% will be paid over the artist concerned only after the whole of the purchase money is released. The Akademi reserves the right to have the accepted works reproduced in Catalogue and any other publication or to supply photographs to the Press publicity purpose. Each participant will be given complimentary copy of the Catalogue. Participants are requested to collect their copy of the Catalogue During exhibition period. No works which has been included in the Exhibition will be allowed to be removed before the closeing of the Exhibition. The Akademi undertakes to return all the art works after the Exhibition. Participants must take their art work at the last date of the exhibition from ICCR gallery. If the exhibits are not taken back within 15 days of exhibition closed the Akademi have the right to dispose off the Exhibits in any manner.
