1 NEWSLETTER 2/ School Governing Body Elections 2015: Please take note that the current term of the Governing Body members comes to an end this year. An election to elect Governing Body members will be held at school at 18:00 on Tuesday 10 March Our school must elect 5 parent representatives to serve on the Governing Body. Elected members will serve for a 3 year term. Parents are nominated and introduced at the election meeting whereafter an election takes place. This is an official departmental process and we will inform you as soon as the documentation from the department for nomination of parents becomes available from the school. Valentines Dance - Adults: Spoil your Valentine and join us at Zuurbron Farm to celebrate this special day. We offer a dinner and dance, cash bar and coffee. Date: Saturday 14 February Time: 19:00. Dress: Semi formal. Cost: R 200 per person. Tickets: Limited tickets are available from the school office ( ). Inter-house athletics: Thank you to all our parents who assisted as officials and our Gr. 7 parents for the tuck shop. Congratulations to all our athletes for their participation. The next athletics meeting is the Zonal Meeting at Nico Malan this coming Saturday 31 January. Parents must please take note that only 2 athletes per event may participate. The best times, where more than one race per age group took place, and distance are used to determine these athletes.
