2 General Note 1. A Pass in SPM is the minimum entry requirement for Malaysians coming through SPM qualification into all Pre-University, Diploma and Bachelor programmes. (a) Prior to 2014, students need to have a Pass in Bahasa Melayu (b) 2014 onwards, students need to have a Pass in both Bahasa Melayu and Sejarah 2. For Malaysian students who do not have a Credit in SPM-Bahasa Melayu, students will need to take and pass the compulsory module Bahasa Kebangsaan A as an additional module. 3. English Requirement : If additional English requirement is not stated under the individual programmes, the following English requirement applies : (a) Minimum score of Band 4 in MUET; Band 5.5 in IELTS; or a score of 213 (Computer-based) or 79 (internet-based) or 550 (paper-based) in TOEFL (b) Students are exempted from the above English requirements if they possess any of the following examination grades in their English : (i) (ii) (iii) SPM / / O-Level : Credit and above 4 out of 7 in International Baccalaureate Other equivalent qualification / examination of English curriculum : 60% and above (c) If English Language requirements are not fulfilled, additional English module(s) may be taken at KDU College (i) International students are required to sit for the English Placement test and based on the results, students will be advised to take the appropriate English course(s) of the Certificate in Intensive English. Students are required to complete the Certificate of Intensive English modules before the commencement of their core programmes. If English Language requirements are not fulfilled, students are required to sit for the English Placement test and based on the results, students will be advised to take the appropriate English course(s) of the Certificate in Intensive English. 4 BUSINESS Keele University 3+0 Bachelor of Arts (Hons) Business Management & Finance STPM Minimum 3Cs * GCE A Level Minimum 3Cs * Diploma (relevant field) Pass with CGPA >= 2.00 : Entry to Year 1 * Pass with CGPA >= 2.50 : Entry to Year 2 * (Subject to matching of Curriculum) Minimum 5Bs including Mathematics Foundation programmes Pass with CGPA > 2.50 * Australian Matriculation e.g. SAM, AUSMAT, ATAR 70 * Victorian Certification of Education, NSW (HSC) Canadian Pre University (CPU) 65% average over 6 subjects * International Baccalaureate (IB) Minimum 28 points in 6 subjects inclusive of 5/7 in Mathematics Local Matriculation Pass with minimum CGPA of 2.50 * Any other equivalent qualifications recognised Pass * by the Ministry *In addition to the above mentioned requirement, the student must have obtained a B in Mathematics at SPM level or its equivalent English Requirement: (a) Minimum score of Band 4 in MUET; Band 6 in IELTS or a score of 213 (Computer-based); 80 (internet-based, with score for listening at least 17, reading, writing and speaking at least 20) or 550 (paper-based) in TOEFL; Credit and above for SPM/ 1119/ O-Level English (b) For KDU Diploma graduates, minimum B average in Academic English for Business I and Business II (c) If English Language requirements are not fulfilled, students are required to sit for the English Placement test and based on the results, students will be advised to take the appropriate English course(s) of the Certificate in Intensive English. Case by case upon acceptance by University of London English Requirement: Minimum score of Band 4 in MUET, Band 6 in IELTS, or a score of 213 (Computer-based) or 79 (internet-based) or 550 (paper-based) in TOEFL, Credit for SPM/1119/O-Level English. If English Language requirements are not fulfilled, students are required to sit for the English Placement test and based on the results, students will be advised to take the appropriate English course(s) of the Certificate in Intensive English. A minimum of 3 credits inclusive of Bahasa Melayu in SPM or its equivalent obtained in one sitting and 2. A minimum of 2 principal passes at STPM level or its equivalent obtained in one sitting; and 3. ATAR 60 70% average over 5 subjects * Foundation Case by Case, students must check with the Legal Qualifying Board of Malaysia for CLP admission purposes English Requirement to enter : Minimum score of Band 4 in MUET, Band 6 in IELTS, or a score of 213 (computer-based) or 79 (internet-based) or 550 (paper-based) in TOEFL, Credit for 1119/O-Level English If English Language requirements are not fulfilled, students are required to sit for the English Placement test and based on the results, students will be advised to take the appropriate English course(s) of the Certificate in Intensive English. Science 3 Credits inclusive of English and Mathematics Arts & Pre-Law 3 Credits inclusive of English Other Year 11 qualification Case by case, subject to evaluation by the School * For students who pursuing a degree in Medicine, Dentistry or Pharmacy upon graduation, student must have B in Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Mathematics/Additional Mathematics and another subject. * For students who are taking the Further Mathematics, students are recommended to have at least a B for Additional Mathematics at the SPM Level. English Requirement : Minimum score of Band 4 in MUET, Band 5.5 in IELTS, or a score of 213 (Computer-based) or 79 (internet-based) or 550 (paper-based) in TOEFL, Credit for SPM/1119/O-Level English. If English Language requirements are not fulfilled, students are required to sit for the English Placement test and based on the results, students will be advised to take the appropriate English course(s) of the Certificate in Intensive English. Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) STPM / GCE A Level KDU Diploma Diploma in Accountancy Diploma in Business Administration CAT (Foundation in Accounting) 2 Principal Passes (plus 3 Credits at SPM inclusive of English and Mathematics) 2 subjects with grade A plus 3 other subjects (including English and Maths) with grades A-C Pass Pass 9 subjects of CAT Matriculation / Foundation A minimum CGPA of 2.5, including Mathematics and English Others Certificate (2 year) from MARA Business Institutes Polytechnic Certificate TAR College Certificate English Requirement:- Credit for SPM / 1119 / O-Level English; minimum score of Band 4 in MUET, Band 6 in IELTS, or a score of 213 (computer-based) or 79 (internet-based) or 550 (paper-based) in TOEFL.
