15 Jones High School MYP & DP IB Honor Code and Declaration Students in the Jones High School MYP and DP IB programs are expected to uphold the highest standards of academic honesty, respect for others, and personal integrity as those are some of the central components of responsible citizenship. All MYP and DP IB students sign the honor code as part of the admission process, and violations of the honor code may result in dismissal from the program. Jones High School strives to provide educational experiences that inspire academic excellence, personal growth and social responsibility. Therefore, the entire JHS community is expected to adhere to JHS Academic Integrity Policy, which was developed in alignment with the International Baccalaureate Organization expectations and guidelines regarding academic honesty and can be found in the JHS student handbook. Student Declaration: I fully understand the MYP and DP IB Honor Code and commit to the ideals and principles of the International Baccalaureate Programme and JHS s Honor Code. I also understand the requirements of the MYP and DP IB programme and agree to meet the full expectations of these programs. In addition, I understand that all MYP IB students and their guardians are required to read the General Regulations: Diploma Programme document, (also on the JHS website under the Academics & Curriculum/Academics/IB Tab).
