There are pages on most topics and tons of information!! We will use this program for career guidance, school search, financial aid search and enrollment and graduation tracking.
Options After High School Military Apprentice Program Community College WATC?
I think that this video, produced by a two year school explains well the issue we are seeing in high schools today. Success in the New Economy Video
Begin with the End in Mind! We need to think ahead in order to make sure that our students are ready for the next step after high school no matter if they are headed to technical school, college, military or work.
The students grades are imported as they earn credit each year. The enrollment year is in blue. Students click on the block and choose their course request. Teacher recommendations will be starred. By clicking learn more students track graduation requirements and can look at pathway classes.

EHS: A Project Lead The Way School Project Lead The Way offers a different approach to learning and teaching. Through activity-, project-, and problem-based curriculum, PLTW gives students in kindergarten through high school a chance to apply what they know, identify problems, find unique solutions, and lead their own learning. For teachers, our engaging, rigorous professional development model provides tools to empower students and transform the classroom into a collaboration space where content comes to life.
Our PLTW Courses: Introductory Courses: Intro to Engineering Design Grade Level: 9-10 *have robotics or shop or visit with Mr. Sommer Principles of Engineering Grade Level: Upper Level Courses: Digital Electronics Grade Level: Computer Science & Software Eng. Grade Level: Civil Engineering and Architecture Grade Level: (GHS) Aerospace Engineering Grade Level: (GHS) Engineering Design & Development Grade Level: 12 **Women and Minorities are underrepresented in Engineering so this is a great field to go into if you are strong in Math and Science
Courses Listed by Department:

Basic Scheduling Instructions Seniority in scheduling (12, 11, 10, 9) Some HONORS Courses require SUMMER WORK can t drop if you signed up for it ALL English, Math, Science, Social Science and Honors courses are teacher recommended Sign up and teacher will confirm correct placement
Basic Scheduling Instructions Must fill in alternate courses we substitute only as needed 1 to 1 REQUIRED courses first, including any failed courses. Must meet prerequisites (check in enrollment book)
A Word About Honors Courses You do not need to take EVERY honors course to get in to a good college. Take honors in areas you are good at and like. If you are getting C s in honors you should take regular next year. Make sure you are considering the time these classes take!! Balance is important Selective schools and scholarship sponsors are looking for the WHOLE package that means some honors, good ACT scores, activities, leadership, etc.
Aides (11-12 only) Grades for aides will be CR or NC & grades do not figure into either GPA Students may only aide for one hour per semester
Students will print a copy of their enrollment requests and bring them home to be signed by a parent. This form must be turned in to the Counseling Office by 3PM March 7 (for 8 th graders by March 9): If they don t turn parent signed forms in the computer will make their schedule without student input.
At EHS we make the ENTIRE Master Schedule based on Student Requests SO: Schedule Change Rules Changes will only be made for the following reasons: A. There is an error (caused by the computer or office) B. Your teacher believes that you have been misplaced in a course or you must move due to 1 st semester failure If you are CAPABLE (teacher recommends), and you COMMIT to the course (by enrolling/parents signing off), then you are expected to COMPLETE the course. I work too many hours or my outside activities are getting in the way I need to change my classes you will have to change your hours or activities.school is your first priority.
