5 TWENTY POINT PROGRAMME I. Progress Report (April-June, 2006) This monthly progress report of Twenty Point Programme consists of two parts: Part-I contains an analysis of the overall performance, whereas Part-II deals with point-wise performance. 2. The report is compiled on the basis of data received from the State Governments/UT Administrations. The data is received either through web enabled software developed by National Informatics Centre (NIC) Cell in this Ministry or through Fax/ /post. The processing of data has been done in association with NIC Cell. 3. The analysis for the period April-June, 2006 shows that the performance under eight items has been (90% or above the targets).these items are: (i) ST Families Assisted, (ii) Villages Electrified, (iii) Drinking Water Supply (Villages/Habitations Covered), (iv) Pumpsets Energised, (v) Slum Improvement, (vi) Bio-Gas Plants, (vii) ICDS Blocks Operational (Cumulative) and (viii) Anganwadis Operational (Cumulative). The performance has been Good (between 80% and 90% of the targets) in respect of one item namely Economically Weaker Sections (EWS) Houses. 4. For the remaining seven items, namely, (i) Indira Aawaas Yojana, (ii) Immunisation of Children (DPT, Polio and BCG), (iii) Area Covered (Under Plantation) Public Forest Lands, (iv) SC Families Assisted, (v) Low Income Group (LIG) Houses, (vi) Distribution of Surplus Land and (vii) Tree Plantation on Private Lands, the performance has been (below 80% of the targets). 5. There are no physical targets for Sampoorna Gramin Rozgar Yojana (SGRY). Hence, only physical achievement has been shown in terms of number of mandays of employment generated. 6, For Improved Chullah, the Ministry of Non-Conventional Energy sources has not fixed any annual target for the current financial year in the absence of plan allocation for this scheme. Henceforth, the achievement of this Programme would be shown without reference to targets. The item has been dropped from rankable items. 7. s in respect of Primary Health Centres and Community Health Centres would be available respectively from second and third quarter of the year The Report does not include information from the State of Sikkim due to non receipt of data up to the finalisation of the Report.
