1 ICWL LEAGUE MEETING MINUTES PLYMOUTH MEETING COMMUNITY CENTER December 2, P.M. 8:30 P.M. 1. Treasurer s report o Currently have $ in the account. Checks written not reflected in balance. $100 donation to Mark Peters Fund $ league meeting snacks. o The following teams have not paid their dues. 2. USA Wrestling Boyertown In Mail Lower Merion In Mail Marple Newtown Octorara Academy Park o All complete charter ships should have been received by all teams. o Coaches Memeberships 109 Coaches 2 Teams & membership not completed 1. Oford & Wissahickon Interboro still missing roster USA Wrestling has received all other teams. Net 24 hours we will upload all teams in the system. You will receive a confirmation of roster. 2 USA Wrestling will invoice you to pay by Dec. 15 th ($15/wrestler) 1. Payment can be made by Credit cards or debit cards. If you are writing a check, contact Tony Black to let him know you will have check to him by the 15 th. Last day to add kids to the roster in January 22 nd Coaches certifications o # of wrestlers epected 3. ICWL Schedule o See attached 4. ICWL Tournament Updates o Contract is done. o Sports Authority has agreed to let us use their parking lot. o We are staying with the modified Madison weight classes. o Weigh ins will be Thursday, Feb. 28 th Sunday, March 3 rd o Pre-Seeding meeting will be Wednesday March 6 th. o Tournament is scheduled for March 10 th. o May consider using online registration. o NO LEAGUE MEETING ON MARCH 4 th due to the seeding meeting. 5. ICWL Duals o Bruiser duals will be held on March 3 rd. o Scheduling a round robin Tournament between the VEWL & ICWL Will takes 2 teams K-6 To check weight classes for tournament you can go to the VEWL website. o Wildwood duals will be the second weekend in February. We will not be putting together a Middle School together. ICWL League Minutes Page 2

3 We will put two Elementary teams together. o Battle of the Bridge A new tournament Fred is setting up between the Glouster NJ league and the ICWL. It will be a tournament that will be our league champions against theirs. o We want to have our own INVITAIONAL for the ICWL. We would put two teams together and invite 4 others to participate. o We want to get new singlets every year for all dual meets. 6. Dues, Insurance verification & weigh-in confirmation o League weigh ins will begin Nov. 27 th and end Dec. 20 th 7. Rosters Brian M o LEAGUE ROSTERS are DUE by Dec. 6 th o If a wrestler is not registered and on the your roster by January 23 rd when Gary Tiles and Brian Martz pull down the list, THEY WILL NOT BE ABLE TO PARTICIPATE IN THE LEAGUE TOURNAMENT. 8. Advanced Practice announcements Mike N. o Upper Merion, West Chester possibly Council Rock & Neshaminy 9. Miscellaneous Info o Nate from Malvern needs 3 mats for his Malvern tourney on Nov. 24 th. if you can lend a mat please call Nate at He will pick them up. o If you have a bad weather event please give plenty of notice of cancelation to the other teams. o Brian will have a weather event advisory on the website.
