5 @ Joining Instructions 66 th All India Police Wrestling Cluster 2017 Pune(Maharash tra) 27 th - 31 st October, 2017 Maharashtra State Police takes pride in hosting the 66 th All India Police Wrestling Cluster 2017, Pune (Maharashtra) from 27th to 31 st October On this occasion, we cordially extend our invitation to all the State Police, Central Police Organizations (CPOs) and Union Territories CUTs) in the country to participate in the ham ion. hip and lo ma.e it a grand. ucce enue: The Championship will be held at State Reserve Police Force Group 1 & 2 Ramtekdi, Hadapsar Pune. 2. Dates: The Championship will be organized from 27th to 31 5t October 2017 Rehearsal of the inaugural function will be conducted on 26/10/2017 (evening session) 3. Weather: The weather of Pune city during October will be pleasant (20 to 35 C). Teams are advised to bring bedding & mosquito nets etc. 4. Arrival: Teams should not arrive before /20 17 and on arrival should report at the All India Police Games Wrestling Cluster Control Room S.R.P.F. Camp, Ramtekdi, Hadapsar, Pune. 5. Reception, Transportation & Air/Rail Reservations: Participants and Senior Officers arriving by Air will be received at Pune Lohegaon Airport. Participants travelling by Train shall be received at Pune Railway Station. Transport will be provided from Pune airport & railway station to the place of stay and to the venue of various events. The time of arrival at Pune with Date & Time of flight/train should be clearly communicated well in advance.

6 The participating Teams are requested to make their own reservations for their return AirlRail journey from Pune well in advance. 6. Accommodation & Messing: The participating Teams are requested to intimate Rank wise strength of the contingent which will be reporting at Pune in connection with the games. Accommodation for the participants will he available from till 01/ Team.'.hould bring their own Bed Kits. II the participating team.. hould bring their own mess items with cookslcamp followers. Assistance will be provided to procure Gas cylinders, provisions, vegetables, meat,milk etc on payment. 7. Security/ Discipline/Identity Cards: All Officers and members of the team are requested to carry their own Identity Cards from the point of view of security. All participating teams are requested to maintain discipline of the highest order. The Team Managers will be responsible for orderly behavior of their team members and discipline of their members during competition, ceremonies and other programmes. All teams are requested to send two stamp size photographs of participants with the entry forms (one for office record and another for issuing games identity card). 8. Eligibility: All participants in the competition other than gazetted officers of and above the rank of Deputy Superintendent of Police, should have been enlisted in the organisation for a continuous period of not less than ONE year before the commencement of the championship. A certificate of such eligibility shall be furnished by an officer not below the rank of Inspector General of Police and such a certificate shall be appended to the Nominal Roll of the team which is being sent to the host for the entry of the team.

7 9. Entry Form! Nominal Roll: A maximum of two entries for an individual event and one for team event should be sent by each organization. Two copies of entry forms along with entry Rs.50/- per participant including coach, doctors, physicians etc, may please be sent to this office by 25/ (Specimen of Entry Forms are enclosed). The entry fees should be sent by Demand Draft drawn in favor of "66 th All India Police Wrestling Cluster Championship " payable at Pune. No outstation cheque will be accepted. A copy of the entry forms may also be sent to The Secretary, All India Police port Control Board Hall no 002 (ground floor), IBCTS Building Gate 0.4, adjoining of ana & 35 Sardar Patel Marg, near Dhaula Kuan ew Delhi Any changes in the entry form should be conveyed to this office at least 15 before the commencement of the games failing which no change will be permitted. 10. Uniform & Flags: All the teams are requested to wear proper sports kit during the Opening & Closing ceremonies as well as during the competitions. Teams should carry respective State/Unit Police flags to the following specification (i) Flag for hoisting 6'x 4' (ii) Flag for March past 3' x 2' for hoisting and March past:- One piece One piece All the teams are required to participate in all the important ceremonies. The date and time of important ceremonies, rehearsals and conferences will be intimated at the time of arrival of teams. All the member of the states/uts/cpos should wear their respective dress, which should be Track suit and sports shoes. The Officers should wear SuitslBlazers for the ceremonies. 11. Entertainment and Sightseeing: Cultural & entertainment programmes and sightseeing tours will be organized during the games. 12. Medical Facilities: Medical facilities will be provided at the place of accommodation as well as at the venue of championship.

8 13. Conduct of the Championship: The Championship will be conducted as per the rules laid down by the All India Police Sports Control Board, New Delhi. The officials, who are on the list of NationallFederationiState Association in the concerned discipline, will conduct the competition. No case of indiscipline, either by the participants or by the official, is expected during the games. Protest, if any can be lodged by the team managers with the organizing committee within two hours from the competition along with the protest fee of R.. 500/- The deci ion of the Jur all te of Honour and Appeal shall be final and binding on 14. Games Secretariat & Control Room: The 66 th All India Police Wrestling Cluster secretariat and Control Room is established at SRPF Group No.2, Near Unit Hospital to provide centralized information and assistance to all teams about stay and transport arrangements, schedule of events etc. A briefing session for all Team Managers will be organized on , at 15:00hrs. 15. Warning about Drugs: International and Olympic rules and guidelines prohibit taking/use of Drugs and Narcotics during the games. Surprise and random doping tests will be conducted during the games and if any player is found using drugs & narcotic substances to improve his performance, he along with the team will be disqualified from the championship immediately. 16. Categories of Matches: The Wrestling Competition: It will be conducted in Free Style and Greco Roman Style under the Repechage System or the latest system prescribed by the Wrestling Federation of India in the following Weight Categories with provisions that an individual competitor can participate in only one weight category.
