All admissions forms are on the St. John Paul II web site and can be mailed, faxed, or ed to the above address. Receipt confirmation will come via e- mail or phone, once the school processes the forms. The test registration form can be submitted electronically, but payment must be mailed. Note: if we are your first choice, you should test with us, but know that you can test at other Catholic high schools and have the results forwarded to us by that school. Application received by school by 15 January School will begin accepting applications immediately. Applications will be considered in January, with admission decisions to be mailed on Friday, 5 February 2016, the unified notification date for all Catholic high schools in the Archdiocese of San Antonio. School records received by school by 15 January The school will request the necessary school records (a transcript to include middle school grades and Iowa Test results) from Catholic grade schools in early January. Public school applicants will need to request school records (transcript for middle school years, including first semester of 8th grade year, and all standardized test results) on their own. The parent can have their school mail these records to St. John Paul II or mail them on their own. Home school families should call St. John Paul II to determine what records can be submitted. Two teacher recommendations received by 15 January We ask that applicants choose a middle school math teacher and a middle school language arts teacher to write teacher recommendations (a school administrator can write a recommendation if necessary). Please provide addressed stamped envelopes with the recommendation letters, or have the middle school mail the letters with the records. Again, home school families should call SJPII to determine who can give these recommendations. ** AFTER 5 DEC. 2015, STUDENTS CAN SIGN UP FOR A TEST DATE IN LATE FEBRUARY 2016; Call the school to schedule.

The following procedure will still be followed, but needs to be completed in an expedited manner. ** For students seeking admission for the School Year: Note that the school usually will not accept transfers into the senior year, except in cases of out-of-town transfers from other Catholic high schools. Two letters of recommendation from current teachers (a language arts teacher and a math teacher is best) need to be received by the school. A school administrator can write a recommendation if desired. Be sure your name is on the envelope as well as on the recommendation form. 4. An interview with the administration.
