2 Rita s Italian Ice LN Student-Athlete of the Week Check out their website and menu here: or give them a call at Rita s is located in Fishers at 8910 East 96 th Street. Grace Moore, Soccer and Matt Reid, Cross Country Moore, a senior, scored 7 goals in the three wins last week over Ben Davis, Plainfield, and Fort Wayne Canterbury. Reid, also a senior, medaled at the Harrison Invitational by placing 8 th out of 183 runners. Both Grace and Matt are honor roll students with GPA s over 4.0. Great job, Wildcats!

3 Cheerleading: The Wildcats brought the energy on Friday night at the LN vs LC game! It was a great crowd and a lot of fun. Way to go, Cats! Photos by Alanna Ampil and Ralph Hankerson.

5 Cross Country: The boys and girls cross country teams participated in the Harrison Invitational in Lafayette over the weekend. Out of 27 teams, the boys placed 4 th and the girls placed 5 th. The boys were led by Matt Reid, placing 8 th overall while Sarah Greer paced the girls team, placing 12 th overall. Great job, runners! Next up is the Ben Davis Invitational on Saturday.

6 Football: The Wildcat football team (2-1, 0-1 MIC) lost a hard fought game to the LC Bears, Keyto Stewart led the offensive attack with 128 yards on 19 carries, including a 70 yard TD run. Keyshawn Smith also had a rushing TD and picked up 69 total yards. Derin McCulley led the defense with 2 interceptions. The Cats look to get a big Homecoming win against North Central (2-1, 0-1 MIC) on Friday night at home. The game will be the MIC Game of the Week! 8 Girls Golf: The golf team (4-4) placed 6 th in the MIC conference championships last week. Caroline Salvas led the team, shooting an 82, which was good enough to earn a spot on the All-MIC team! The Cats will travel to Smock Golf Course for the Marion County Championships on Tuesday, and then will be in action against North Central, Perry Meridian, and Guerin Catholic on Wednesday and Thursday before heading down to the Franklin Central Invite on Saturday.

9 Girls Soccer: The Wildcats (6-0-1, 2-0 MIC) had a great week, going 3-0 with wins over Ben Davis (8-0), previously unbeaten Plainfield (2-1), and Fort Wayne Canterbury (7-0). Scoring goals for the Cats this week were Brooklyn Stewart, Ashley Major, Lauren Koehl, Ryli John, Grace Moore, Ellie Bisard, and Lydia Griffith. Goal keeper Elyse Moser and the defense put up two shutouts! The Cats will be on the road this week, traveling to MIC rivals Carmel on Tuesday and then Pike on Thursday.

10 Boys Soccer: The Wildcats (2-4, 1-1 MIC) went 1-1 last week. The Cats picked up a good 5-0 win against Shelbyville and lost a hard fought game to Ben Davis on the road, 1-0. The team will be busy this week, hosting MIC rivals Carmel on Tuesday and Pike on Thursday for Senior Night. The Cats will then travel to North Central for the Great Midwest Classic on Friday and Saturday.

11 Boys Tennis: The team lost a close match to Bishop Chatard last week, 3-2. The netters will be on the road this week with matches against Mt. Vernon on Wednesday and then at LC on Thursday.

12 Volleyball: The Wildcats (4-5, 2-0 MIC) went 2-0 last week. The team had a straight set win over Ben Davis, 25-14, 25-8, and then followed that up with win over a good Bishop Chatard team, 25-18, 25-22, The team will host two matches this week; Fishers on Tuesday and then Cathedral on Thursday.
