2 2009 Event Sponsorship Opportunities Family Snowman Building Dinner (March) Participants in our Family Snowman Building Contest can celebrate their work at a FREE dinner! 3 Independence Day Festivities (July) Thousands of people flood Clintonwood Park each summer for Independence Township s biggest event of the year, making this an excellent marketing opportunity! Dynamite Sponsor ($2,500): Exclusive recognition for our main children s entertainment on AM 910 Radio Disney (approximately second promotional spots); everything offered at the Cannon Blast Level. Summer Day Camp Shirts (May) Day Camp t-shirts are worn by hundreds of campers throughout the summer months and on many field trips throughout southeast Michigan (like here, at the Detroit Zoo)! Gold Level ($251+): Donor recognition on back of camper t-shirt, with large font and logo; letter of appreciation and donor recognition in three 2009/2010 Parks and Recreation magazines, mailed to over 17,000 households Silver Level ($76-$250): Donor recognition on back of camper t- shirt (no logo); also includes everything offered at Bronze Sponsorship level Bronze Level ($75): Letter of appreciation and donor recognition in the 2009 Parks and Recreation Fall Magazine, mailed to over 17,000 households Contact Person: Lisa Sargent, Renee Przybylski Memorial Spraypark Relay for Life Each year, Parks and Recreation seasonal employees participate in the American Cancer Society s Relay for Life to support finding a cure for cancer. Built in memory of a longtime Parks & Recreation camp counselor, the Spraypark at Clintonwood averages over 18,000 visitors yearly. Team sponsorships and in-kind donations are always accepted; sponsorship recognition will vary on the nature of the gift. All money goes to the American Cancer Society. Sponsorship cost: $500 - large 14 in. x 14 in. paver, 4 lines of text, 18 characters per line; $500-6-foot fence section, plaque with 4 lines, 18 characters per line; $200 - medium 10 in. x 10 in. paver, 3 lines of text, 18 characters per line; $100 - small 5 in. x 10 in. paver, 2 lines of text, 18 characters per line. 6 Youth Baseball and Softball (Spring and Summer) Consistently attracting over 1,000 participants year after year, America s Past-time is one of Parks and Recreation s most popular programs.
