Associate Superintendent, Human Resources CERTIFICATED VACANCY LIST Interested staff should complete a transfer request and file the request with the Human Resource Office prior to contacting the principal at the school with the vacancy. The positions are not open to any teacher who has been non-re elected by the KHSD Board of Trustees, or has resigned effective the end of the current year. Teacher Positions: certification. Candidates must hold a Preliminary or Clear Single Subject Credential, and CLAD Teacher vacancies are open to teachers who will be employed by the Kern High School District for the school year. Counseling Positions: Counselors must hold a full Counseling Credential and a Preliminary or Clear Teaching Credential, a CLAD Certification and be highly qualified. Coaching Positions: Candidates must meet basic requirements prescribed by the Education Code and District Policy. Applications must include a resume of any training related to the position. Per the District/KHSTA Memorandum of Understanding, only current teachers may apply during the initial posting period.
