HUTCHINS MEMORIAL WRESTLING AWARD - $250 given by the Hutchins Family in memory of Dan Hutchins to the Most Outstanding Wrestler of the Annual North Hunterdon HS/Delaware Valley Regional HS wrestling match is presented to: Andrew Gapas HARRY VANDERMARK MEMORIAL WRESTLING AWARD - $250 given by Mr. Ted Resnick through the North Hunterdon Lions Athletic Hall of Fame, in memory of the former Head Wrestling Coach to a senior wrestler who reflects Mr. Vandermark s values of hard work, dedication, self-sacrifice and leadership is presented to: Will Hughes 4/9

5 HUNTERDON LIONS TRACK CLUB AWARD $500 given by the Hunterdon Lions Track Club to a senior boy and senior girl athlete who was a varsity member of the cross country, indoor track or spring track team; was a member of the Hunterdon Lions Track program prior to high school or who helped significantly with the program as a volunteer high school student; who consistently demonstrated passion for the sport and good sportsmanship; and who will be attending college in the fall is presented to: Emma Mikitiuk Connor Letko JAMES SMITH AWARD - $150 in honor of the former coach and teacher to a senior male and female athlete who has earned a letter in two varsity sports and displays outstanding dedication, leadership, character and sportsmanship is presented to: Abby Whalen Connor Letko JASON SCHAIBLE MEMORIAL AWARD - $250 given by the Schaible Family in memory of Jason Schaible to a soccer player who best exemplifies good sportsmanship, excellent academic achievement, a positive outlook both on and off the field and a genuine enthusiasm for the game is presented to: Eddie Acosta Mike Sabatella Gabe Volpe MARTIN S. NIEDERER MEMORIAL SCHOLARSHIP $1,000 given by the Niederer Family to a senior basketball or golf player in honor of Martin S. Niederer, a 1995 graduate of North Hunterdon High School who tragically lost his life in the 9/11 terrorist attacks on the Twin Towers in New York City, is awarded to: Brendan Zappala NORM PEDERSEN SENIOR AWARD - $100 in memory of the late North Hunterdon baseball coach to a senior, two-year varsity letter baseball player, who has exhibited a high degree of sportsmanship, character, leadership, solid attitude and has always been a team player is presented to: Ryan Ruscansky 5/9

This year s recipients are: Aniya Stevenson Jared McMahon NORTH SENIOR SPORTSMANSHIP/SPIRIT AWARD - $250 to senior athletes who display outstanding sportsman and spirit qualities as representatives of North Hunterdon High School athletes is presented to: Natalie Fitzpatrick Brian Weller RICHARD MOORE SCHOLARSHIP AWARD - $250 in honor of Coach Moore to a senior girl and boy soccer, basketball or softball player who holds himself or herself accountable and shows intensity, heart, hustle and passion for the game at all times is presented to: Jess Nolan Xander Braun SCOTT VAN DOREN MEMORIAL SCHOLARSHIP - $2,000 for four years given by the Van Doren Family to a senior varsity wrestler who excels in academics and wrestling skills is presented to: Tucker Kirchberger SKYLAND LACROSSE, GREEN AND GOLD SENIOR SCHOLARSHIP - $500 to a graduating senior boy lacrosse player who best exemplifies the ideals of the program and of the game including attitude, effort, commitment and leadership. This year s recipient is: Ben Parente NORTH OUTSTANDING SENIOR ATHLETE SCHOLARSHIP $300 and an award given to the male and female senior athlete who is the most outstanding senior athlete. Gehrig Anderson HEART OF THE LION ATHLETIC SCHOLARSHIP - $250 to a senior athlete that has shown leadership, growth, sportsmanship and dedication to their sport while playing at NHHS.
