6 1 2 3 INITIAL ELIGIBILITY VERIFICATION FORM (IEVF): This form must be posted on the League website on or before the latest possible date listed below. The IEVF ensures that the Activities Director and the Head Coach have reviewed the list of all students who have reported for the sport and that the identified students are fully eligible to participate in the first Varsity contest. After the IEVF has been submitted, any changes to the Varsity roster must be listed on the schools Master Eligibility List. ROSTER: Roster should include all students who participate in your school program at the Varsity, Junior Varsity and Sophomore B squad level. If the determination about the level of play (Varsity, Junior Varsity, B Squad or Sophomore team) for students has not yet been determined by the IEVF deadline, all students should be listed on the Varsity Roster. Changes to the roster status of students can be made anytime during the season by the member school. If you do not want your roster information to display on the public area of the website, you should click the inactive box for each student until you have made your final squad determination(s). The League office will be able to identify the date you entered your original data in order to meet the required deadline for each sport. VARSITY SCHEDULE: All varsity games scheduled by the member school must be posted on the League website on or before the latest possible date so that the eligibility status of the students on the IEVF can be confirmed. 4 TENNIS CERTIFIED LINE UP: Prior to any competition in the Section Tournament. 5 WRESTLING WEIGH-IN CERTIFICATION FORM: Prior to the first competition or no later than December th, whichever occurs first. SECTION/STATE WEIGH-IN CERTIFICATION FORM: Prior to any participation in the Section Tournament as identified for your competitive section. NOTES STATE TOURNAMENT SEEDING SEEDING INFORMATION AND DEADLINES: See specific activity page and Rules & Policies for complete information. NOTES 7 TEAM AND CHEERLEADERS PHOTOS (as well as One Act Play photos) must be submitted in the following way. A color JPEG or TIFF file that is a minimum size of 5X7 at 300 dpi may be ed directly to the League office (photos@mshsl.org). Anything less than 300 dpi will not reproduce well in print. Photos posted on the League website are low resolution and are unacceptable. Do not crop photos. The League will crop them to fit their purpose. All photos must be received by the Deadline Date. Photos will be certified by the League office when received. Identification information for every photo must be entered on the League website (use the Team Info link on the administrative page for that activity). Identify individuals as follow: Row 1 (L-R): Joan Smith,. Row 2: Head Coach Jane Doe,. Check spelling. Make sure there is a name for each person in each row. All identification information must be entered on the League website. Identification sent with USPS mailed photos or as a separate Word documents or as s is unacceptable. Member schools are responsible for certifying photo identification information. 8 9 Enter your COMPLETE ROSTER on the administrative side of the League website. To avoid fines, rosters must be posted by the date listed on each activity home page. Certify your Official Roster by the program deadline dates as listed in this document. You are encouraged, however, to keep rosters updated throughout the season. Member schools are responsible for certifying official rosters. 1) Enter your COMPLETE SCHEDULE on the administrative side of the League website. To avoid fines, complete schedules and results must be posted by the date listed on each activity home page. Enter your complete season record including all opponents and scores by the program deadline date as listed in this document. Update Subsection and Section Tournament scores as necessary. Member schools are responsible for certifying completed schedules and results. You are encouraged, however, to keep schedules and results (immediately after each contest) updated throughout the season. 2) Volleyball set scores should be entered correctly. If a match was won 3-0, the corresponding set scores should reflect a higher (winning) score first and then a lower (losing) score. Example: a 3-0 match score should read 25-10, 25-18, and not 10-25, 25-18, because that reflects a 2-1 match score. The set scores can easily show up inaccurately if your opponent enters the result on the League website first because it will then populate your page also. Check the set scores before you certify them because League staff cannot possibly figure out what was correct and will simply delete them. When your team wins the Section Team Championship, enter your TEAM STATISTICS, accomplishments and any other newsworthy items on the administrative side of the League 10 website by 8 a.m. on the Deadline Date. For many activities, the Web site offers you an opportunity to enter statistics throughout the season and you are encouraged to do that. However, there is a separate form on the administrative side of the League website for entry of complete season statistics and newsworthy items. This information is used in the news release that is written prior to the state tournament/meet and is also posted on the League website and distributed to media across the state. For some events the information is also used in a Media Guide that is distributed to members of the media attending tournaments. 11 Complete the Dance Team State Tournament Program Form (State Program Preview link) on the administrative side of the League website. 8/10/201 3:54:55 PM
