Medals will be given to the top four places in all events. PARTICIPATING TEAMS: Beloit, Colby, Ellsworth, Goodland, Southeast of Saline, Hays-TMP, Hesston, Hoisington, Lyons, Minneapolis, Norton, Phillipsburg, Riley County, Russell, Scott Community, Sterling ENTRIES: Due by 8:30pm, Saturday, May 12, 2018 per KSHSAA policy SCORING: for all events SCHEDULE OF EVENTS: See separate sheet In the shot put, discus, javelin, long jump and triple jump, all entrants will be given three attempts and the top eight will advance to the finals and receive three more attempts. High jump and pole vault will be run off in the usual fashion. All throws and jumps will be measured. Advancement to the finals in running events will be by place and time, per KSHSAA policy. FACILITIES: The javelin runways are grass. The track and jump runways are an all-weather surface. Use ¼ spikes only. Discus and Shot Put areas are concrete. Restrooms are located under the stadium and on the south side of the track. Concessions will be provided. This meet will be timed using a Fully Automated Timing (FAT) system. Results will be posted under the stadium in a timely manner. Team camps shall be outside the track and not in the stands.

2 PARKING: Buses will be allowed to park in the stadium until it s full. Then bus parking will be across the street at the baseball field. For spectators/suburbans, there is parking across the street at the baseball field and further east at additional baseball fields. Parking is also available on residential streets south of the stadium. Please inform parents to not park along the curve, as the city has chosen to enforce this as a no parking zone and will issue tickets to those parked there. GUIDELINES: ****The following rules will be strictly enforced**** 1. Sportsmanship and Legal Uniforms (Head coaches responsibility) 2. Pole Vault forms need to be turned in at the coaches meeting and will be checked. 3. Competition areas will be marked off with white paint and/or flags. Only athletes in that event and event officials will be allowed inside these areas. 4. Only athletes and event officials will be allowed on or inside the track. Athletes may warm up on the football field. Coaches, parents, and spectators need to remain in the stands. PASS GATE: Located at the East Gate Please fill out the attached form and it to Kyle Beisner (kbeisner@usd273.org) by Tuesday, May 15. All athletes, coaches, managers, and administrators will need to check in. If they are not on the list, they will have to pay. ADMISSION FEE: $6.00 for adults $5.00 for K-12 th grade students IMPLEMENT WEIGH IN: All throwing implements (i.e. shot put, discus, javelin) will need to be weighed in prior to competition.
