11 Payment Point Details: Advance One or More Levels Learner makes sufficient pre-/post-test gains to advance one or more NRS levels (Table 4 column E) or ABE lower levels on Payment Point Chart Learner must continue in program after completing a level (must mark Retained in Program on Update Record Field #7 Status) Learner gains are in only one modality Learner gains are awarded only once for each learner Note: Not for ASE High learners, as there is not another level for advancement. 11

12 Payment Point Details: GED Attained a GED, per NRS Table 5 Must mark Passed GED on Update Record Must pass all sections of the GED test The Spanish GED is acceptable Must mark Left Program on Update Record Field #7 Status Social Security GED ID numbers ensures accuracy (otherwise, demographics will be used, but accuracy is not guaranteed) CDE will perform the data match to determine payment points Note: Effective in 2014, the GED test has four sections instead of five; GED ID has up to 32 digits 12

15 Payment Point Details: CAHSEE Learners must have passed the CAHSEE Math or English Language Arts during the AEFLA program year Learners are officially on the district CAHSEE passage list Must appear on students official transcripts Record results in Education & Results section of the TE Student Demographics Record 15

16 Payment Point Details: EL Civics, Civic Participation Prerequisite: complete Student Outcome Data Set (SODS) consisting of Entry, Update, Pretest, and CASAS Post-test records Posttest gains are recorded under ESL School must have CDE-approved Civic Objectives and Additional Assessment Plans (COAAP) Awarded when learners pass up to two Additional Assessments 16

Recertification will be good through June 30 th of the following year. with instructions and link to the interviews will be sent to all CIT administrators the first week of January.
