11 Pathway 3 Options 2017 Name, Form This Pathway is for students we recommend take Triple Science and provides a wide range of subject choices, preparing students to progress into post-16 education and beyond. We advise selecting a broad, balanced range of subjects with consideration given equally to EBacc qualifications in bold and the open group of GCSE and vocational courses. Please choose four subjects in order of priority, by placing a number (1-4) in the subject boxes. You must select a minimum of one subject from the EBacc Options section, we would advise you to take at least two. Your remaining choices may come from any of the three Options sections. You must also choose two reserve subjects by putting R1 and R2 next to them. Please be aware one reserve might become a subject you study. 15 Pathway 2b Options 2017 Name, Form This Pathway provides a range of subject choices, preparing students to progress into post-16 education and beyond. This Pathway has been carefully designed for (NAME) based on (his/her) current performance across a range of subjects. It also includes vocational subjects which have not been studied at Key Stage 3. The intention is to ensure that (NAME) achieves the maximum success in (his/her) chosen subjects while offering a full range of progression opportunities at the end of Year11. All students on this Pathway study for GCSEs in English Language, English Literature, Mathematics, Combined Science and Geography or History. They also have the opportunity to take separate NCFE Vocational Certificate qualifications in Business & Enterprise and Creative Studies. For Option choices, please choose two subjects from the Options blocks below in order of priority, by placing a number (1-2) in the subject boxes. 16 Pathway 2d Options 2017 Name, Form This Pathway gives access to a range of subjects, preparing students to progress into post-16 education and beyond. This Pathway has been designed for those students who need additional support to maximise their attainment across the curriculum, with particular emphasis on building life skills. All students on this Pathway follow a Core curriculum, with GCSE or Entry Level being decided in Year 11 based upon progress made. Additionally, students study for the NCFE Vocational Certificate qualification and also have an opportunity to study for the Duke of Edinburgh Bronze Award. In addition to school based courses, students will attend a number of one day vocational taster courses at a range of post-16 Further Education providers over the two years. All courses offered have a school or college based post-16 progression route. 17 Raising Participation Age (RPA) Until they are 18, young people have to stay in: full-time education in school or FE college OR work-based learning, for example an apprenticeship or a job with full training OR part-time education/training alongside employment, self-employed or volunteering of more than 20 hours a week.
